Role: Product Manager (UX/Product Designer & Procurement)

JD:

1. Product Design & User Research

● Deep-Dive Workflows: Analyze Singpass Incident Response (IR) workflows to design

intuitive dashboards, alert flows, and communication templates within the core IRM

platform to aggressively reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).

● UX/UI Strategy: Translate user feedback into tangible wireframes and functional product

requirements optimized for high-stress environments.

2. Framework Mastery & Training (Train-the-Trainer)

● IMAG Expertise: Undergo intensive training to become deeply well-versed in GovTech’s

Incident Management Assessment Guide (IMAG) framework.

● Knowledge Transfer: Act as the primary trainer, upskilling both the core Singpass team

and future onboarded users on the IMAG framework and the practical usage of the IRM

platform.

3. Procurement, Finance & Vendor Management

● Government Procurement: Partner closely with GovTech’s Finance Business Partners

to navigate and execute the procurement of enterprise platform licenses and associated

productivity tools.

● Vendor Operations: Lead coordination with the enterprise platform vendor support team

to advocate for new features, track deliverables, and monitor the resolution of security

vulnerabilities.

4. Stakeholder & Compliance Management

● Roadmap Alignment: Act as the central bridge between Singpass users, GovTech

leadership, and engineering teams to prioritize the product backlog.

● Security & Compliance: Ensure the platform rigorously adheres to GCC+ and GDC

security standards lifecycle.

• Perform all tasks assigned by the immediate superior in accordance to the specifications and schedule.
• Plan and organize use of resources effectively to meet OEE, productivity, internal failure cost target.
• Work with all levels of the organization to improve quality levels, providing customer with “Zero Defect Product” and “100% On-Time Delivery”.
• To translate the company’s objective into department goals and ensure the goals are cascaded to Production line leader and operator levels.
• Create an environment that is culturally embedded in a “Quality First” mentality.
• To maintain records for all downtime and to clinically analyze the lost opportunity for improvement.
• To initiate project, evaluation and study for capacity and quality improvement.
• To follow up and summarize the entire pilot builds failure into “OPEN POINT LIST”.
• Instill a continuous improvement mentality to production line leader and operator level.
• Establish performance indicators and evaluate production line leader and operator level.
• To Lead “CIP” production daily management meeting.
• To liaise with TEF group for improvement.
• To perform the production line process confirmation.
• To provide support and guidance to line leaders, technicians and operators on their daily tasks.
• To ensure production line leaders, technicians and operators follow quality control procedure and all the BPS activities and procedures.
• Review line leaders, technicians and operators performance on quarterly basic and provide Guidance to improve his/her performance.
• Coordinate and follow up various departments to ensure smooth execution day to day activities.
• Responsible for year end physical inventory count.
• Enforce safety and 5’S activity assigned by superior.
• To evaluated and prepared year end GPD for subordinates.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

We are partnering with a global leader in the specialty chemicals space to recruit an Assistant Product Marketing Manager responsible for managing and developing the product portfolio across the Asia Pacific region.

This role offers encompasses product operations, regional exposure, and strategic involvement, including opportunities to contribute to product roadmap development and new product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio & Lifecycle Management

• Manage and maintain the regional product portfolio, ensuring product data, specifications, and documentation are accurate and up to date
• Support end-to-end product lifecycle management, including new product launches, upgrades, and phase-in/phase-out planning
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the portfolio to support continuous improvement

Product Strategy & Development

• Support end-to-end chemical product development, product marketing, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product plans aligned with the company’s overall strategy
• Support the consistent rollout of regional product strategy across APAC markets
• Contribute to the development of product roadmaps aligned with automotive and industry evolution to capture and expand market share
• Assess business opportunities in emerging markets, including co-branded product initiatives with OEM partners

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related enquiries across the region
• Evaluate, justify, and prioritize new product requests from commercial teams
• Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to support product development and execution

Label Design & Compliance

• Develop, refine, and update product labels in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Ensure all designs comply with brand guidelines, regulatory standards, and market requirements

SKU & Data Management

• Support the creation, extension, and maintenance of SKU codes for new and existing products
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across systems

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 4 years’ experience in product management or product marketing.
• Experience in automotive lubricants, petroleum additives/chemicals, or base oil industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a creative mindset.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Meticulous, proactive, and a self-starter with strong teamwork skills.
