Position Summary

• The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production scheduling, material control, and project progress activities for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.
• This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth assembly operations, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

2. Material Control & Inventory Management

3. Project Coordination & Customer Communication

• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, and support corrective/ preventive action implementation.
• Promote safety culture through toolbox talks, inspections, and routine safety briefings.
• Maintain full traceability and accurate documentation for materials, including verification of sampling, testing, weighing, and inspection activities.
• Support internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring compliance with policies, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead and supervise production teams, supporting manpower planning, shift scheduling, task allocation, coaching, and acting as Operations Manager’s delegate when needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of critical spares, work-in-progress, and finished jobs.
• Review and update SOPs and work instructions as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent); safety certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of related experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Prior supervisory or assistant management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• In charge of managing daily production, capacity planning and machine optimization.
• In charge of leading and motivating the production team to meet schedules for the various operations supporting customer requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized and clean work environment by setting and driving 6S standard.
• Responsible for respective consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, risk assessment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Involve in supporting and participating in Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Conduct routine cell and tool box meetings with effectively.
• Responsible for maintaining a motivated and disciplined workforce and promote a positive working environment to improve employee morale.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams in resolution of any issue that may impact production/quality.
• Responsible in identifying opportunities for production efficiency improvement and reduction in waste.
• Taking charge of managing proper and accurate updating of ERP system (Syteline).
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Engineering or relevant
• Min 5 years of production or operations experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 years of experience in a supervisory
• Experience in CNC machining and Welding Process
• Experience in GDT is a must
