• Overall responsibility of Bosch semiconductor product and lead plant-specific simultaneous engineering team consisting of test engineer, process engineers for:
  • achieving quality, cost, delivery targets. Implementation of cost saving measures.
  • achieving yield targets, analyzing conspicuous lots and defining further actions for the lots
• Participation in lead-plant engineering meetings, discussions and stand in for plant specific interests. Reporting on plant specific topics and KPIs regarding products.
• Ensure implementation and coordination of product and process new product releases and related changes.
• Ensure ramp-up / ramp-down of products, including engineering trials and sample production.
• Responsible for Test data analysis, statistical analysis for yield improvement, lot evaluation and evaluation of customer returns. Root cause analysis of failure parts.
• Analysis of issues related to product and test system combinations.
• Issuing concessions, risk assessments, engineering change requests in cooperation with leadplant. Responsible for plant specific product documents.
• In case of quality issues, responsible for implementation of containments, root cause analysis and definition/implementation of corrective actions.
• Participation in Cost Savings Meetings.
• Responsible for the whole process chain of a product.
• Definition of criteria for active lots of release in cooperation with leadplant.
• Coaching/Training of Operators.
• Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Plant Product Owner for assigned product families from manufacturing stage through end-of-life (EOL).
• Serve as the main interface between Plant and Development for all product-related HW/SW issues.
• Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) performance and implement continuous improvement actions to meet targets.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for production and quality issues (e.g., FOR, field returns, 0km defects).
• Take ownership as Task Force Leader for critical product or process issues, coordinating cross-functional resources.
• Support failure analysis (FA) activities and collaborate with teams to define effective diagnostic tools.
• Transfer product know-how from development to plant during industrialization and ensure smooth product ramp-up.
• Participate in new product development (NPD) phases to incorporate plant lessons learned and prevent recurring issues.
• Provide technical risk assessments and decision justification for quality-related concerns.
• Lead and support cost improvement initiatives (e.g., RPP, IDC) to achieve plant and corporate targets.
• Develop and implement engineering and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness through line buy-off, release, and validation activities.
• Conduct technical training for production technicians and engineers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contract manufacturers (CM), and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
• Support data analysis and reporting (e.g., SQL queries, technical presentations) for management and customers.
• Provide support in sample builds, testing, and evaluation activities during early product phases.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

1.1 MT Product Purchasing Buyer for related MT Product Group(s) in PgP2 along the complete Product Life Cycle (incl. product relocation).
1.2 MT Purchasing Strategy-, Quality- and Target Cost responsibility and accountability for MT Product Groups in PgP2.
1.3 MT contact interface to Material Field purchasing (Commercial, Quality). Assure aligned messages for the related Product Group from MT to the Material Field Purchasing.
1.4 Escalation in the MT-Pg for Purchasing related issues (commercial, quality, logistics).
1.5 Prepare aligned MT-Pg Product Group Purchasing Strategy for PT-MT/PPU

Job Scope
2.1 Definition & Maintenance of a Product Group Purchasing Strategy considering TTM and Value Stream targets of MT-PgP.
2.2 Product Group interface from Purchasing to MT.
2.3 Leading and responsible for the RPP activities in the respective Product Group (creation, implementation, cooperation cross-functionally) at PgP location.
2.4 Early Supplier involvement in PIF to support Product Innovation and Target Cost Achievement (PILUM).
2.5 Support Annual Price Negotiation by providing new potential business opportunities of Product. Group in pipe-line.
2.6 Challenge and support Material Field buyers to achieve Best Material Field Costs
2.7 Support Material Field Buyers for contracting (e.g. SE-contracts, NDA, Concept Competition etc.)
2.8 Create transparency of costs of Product Group by benchmarking (support the Global Product Champion).
2.9 Responsible for achievement of Best Costs in Product Group (Benchmarking, TCO, RPP) before / after SOP.
2.10 Responsible for Product Group related quality activities (e.g. ISIR, 8D, PQA, etc.)
2.11 First escalation level for Quality and Logistics related supplier issues from Plant.
2.12 Takes care of purchasing related topics/tasks in the Value Stream.
2.13 Ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
