Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex ICT projects on time and within budget
• Plan and manage end-to-end project execution, including system migrations, platform upgrades, and cloud initiatives
• Define and track project KPIs (e.g., milestones, regression benchmarks, cost metrics) and report progress to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate delivery and technical risks (e.g., integration dependencies, version compatibility, cloud transitions)
• Manage vendors across middleware, cloud, and external service providers
• Evaluate and manage change requests for system enhancements
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to drive delivery
• Engage business stakeholders to align IT solutions with needs
• Facilitate training and system implementation activities

Requirements

• Proven track record managing at least 2 full-cycle ICT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, with at least one involving a major platform migration or system upgrade
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be a plus
• Experience in Java (J2EE) application upgrades, including dependency management and regression testing
• Familiarity with middleware systems, integration patterns, APIs, and service continuity
• Experience delivering cloud-related projects (e.g., governance, compliance, operations)
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT governance and security frameworks

About the role

This full-time Project Manager (AV) role involves leading and managing AV projects from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of AV installations and integrations, meeting client expectations and deadlines.

What you'll be doing

• Review and understand statement of works, drawings and schematics, to determine time to deliver and resource planning and management for the project period
• Responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project
• Provide project management guidance to the team
• Identify and resolve site issues effectively and efficiently
• Provide regular project reports/updates to customers and stakeholders
• Manage customer expectations and requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards throughout project lifecycles
• Coordinate turn-over of project to service department at the end of each project
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Audio-Visual, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years project management experience in the AV industry
• Understand AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques
• Understand technical and construction documents
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups
• Effective communication skills
• Resourceful and able to adapt according to the changing environment
• Valid and current PMP Certification preferred
• Candidates with fewer years of experience can be considered for Assistant Project Manager role
