Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)
Job Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
* Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project-related matters.
* Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, work schedules, and technical submissions.
* Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
* Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
* Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
* Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders.
* Support project managers in the successful delivery of construction projects.
Job Requirements
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret engineering and construction drawings.
* Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, codes, and industry practices.
* Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Possess a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in building, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Project, BIM software, or other engineering software will be an advantage.
* Possession of relevant safety certifications will be an added advantage.
