Key Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and safety regulations.
-Monitor project progress, quality, and workmanship to ensure timely completion of works.
-Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on technical and site matters.
-Review construction drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and work procedures.
-Resolve site coordination and technical issues to minimize project delays.
-Assist the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, reporting, and overall project execution.
-Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports and project documentation.
-Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, workplace safety regulations, and contract specifications.
-Monitor defect rectification works and ensure satisfactory completion.
Requirements
-Degree in Engineering or Professional Certificate acceptable for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or acceptable for registration as a Resident Engineer under IES/BCA requirements.
--Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in supervising construction works.
-Familiar with civil infrastructure works, including roads, drains, sewer systems, box culverts, ERSS, piling works, and utility services installation.
-Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
-Good understanding of construction methodologies, site supervision, quality control, and workplace safety requirements.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and BIM will be an advantage.
-Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
-Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
