About the Role

You will help deliver best-in-class customer experience across Shopee's regional markets by driving AI-powered automation, operational efficiency, and data-led decision-making in close partnership with local Customer Service (CS) teams and upstream operational partners.

Responsibilities

AI & Automation

• Drive chatbot and AI automation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

• Identify automation opportunities through contact data analysis and translate insights into product, process, or workflow improvements

Operational Excellence

• Support local Customer Service (CS) teams on agent performance management, workforce planning, and capability building

• Develop and track customer experience metrics, and generate actionable insights to support continuous improvement initiatives

Upstream Demand Management

• Identify and diagnose root causes of customer contacts across logistics, returns, and payments

• Work closely with upstream operational partners, including logistics providers, fulfilment, and payment teams, to address recurring issues and improve the customer experience

• Engage directly with stakeholders to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required 

• Minimum 1 years of full-time strategy working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm 

• Familiarity with AI, chatbots, automation, or software development would be advantageous

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues, generate insights, and size opportunities

• Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and collaborative environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and markets

HRIS Business Analyst – Banking Financial Industry

Summary

The HRIS Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and advancing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) in the bank. Leveraging extensive industry experience and deep HRIS expertise, this role ensures HR technology supports operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. The HRIS Business Analyst partners with Regional HR, CoE’s, IT, Country HR and business units to deliver robust and scalable HRIS solutions tailored to the complex need of financial Sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead End to end analysis, design and implementation of HRIS enhancements, integrations, and new functionalities specific to banking and finance.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HRIS best practices, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR) for financial institutions.

• Support large scale HRIS implementations, including system migrations, upgrades, and integrations with payroll, benefits, and compliance platforms.

• Drive data conversion and ensure the highest standard of data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations.

• Develop interpret and present complex HR reports and analytics to support workforce planning, compensation, and strategic decision-initiatives.

• Provide expert level support, training, and documentation for HRIS users across HR payroll, risk and compliance teams.

• Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance and driven innovation.

• Identify recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within HRIS and related HR functions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure HRIS solution remains complaint and competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive HRIS experience with at least 3 years in banking/financial services.

• In depth Knowledge of Leading HRIS Platforms (e.g. Workday, Oracle, HCM, SAP SuccessFactors) and their applications in the financial sector. Workday implementation experience preferred.

• Demonstrated success managing complex HRIS project, system integration and process improvement.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Expertise in regulatory compliance, data security, risk management within financial services.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Hands of experience with user requirements gathering, training and guide preparation, user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Understanding of ERP integrations involving payroll, benefits and financial system.

• Familiarity with financial industry standards, Audit processes and regulatory frameworks.
