Job description 

• Lead and manage Pro AV projects from conception to completion. Develop comprehensive project plans, define scopes, and oversee the execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, architects, and contractors. Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication throughout the project.
• Serve as the technical lead for projects. Responsible for preparing detailed technical designs, solution proposals, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and environmental factors. Manage and supervise on-site installations, system commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems are integrated correctly and function as intended.
• Generate and maintain all project-related documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts, and technical manuals. Provide regular project status updates to management and clients.
• Provide end-user training on new Pro AV systems and offer ongoing technical support as needed.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, end users and government agencies
• Perform any other duties assigned

Requirements 

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering / Multimedia Technology / Audio Engineering, or any other relevant field of studies

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Manager role within the Pro AV, or a related systems integration industry.

• Strong knowledge of professional audio and video systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and control systems. Familiarity with brands like Crestron, Extron, Q-Sys, Biamp, etc. is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of basic IT networks, protocols (TCP/IP), and network security. Experience with AV-over-IP technologies is a significant plus.
• Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting Pro AV software, video streaming platforms, and related hardware.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams. Have strong organisational skills, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical and logistical challenges effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated individual who is a team player but also capable of working independently and taking ownership of projects.

• Perform day to day coordination, risk management, liaison, control and supervision of resources including all project team members, sub-contractors, internal and external project stakeholders and customers to ensure that the project meets its objectives

• Conduct External and Internal Design Reviews and Project Management Review with Customer and project stakeholders

• Provide regular project reports/updates to customers, internal departments and management

• Monitor all payment milestones to ensure timely billing in accordance to the planned scheduled

• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan

• Work with pre-sales and solution team in cost and efforts estimation during project tendering phase

Qualities We Value

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 7-8 yrs working experience in industry

• Experience in InfoComm Technology

• Experience in Maritime Communication Systems is preferred

• Sound knowledge of project planning, accounting and reporting tools

• Able to work in shipyard and shipboard environment

• Ability to innovate and adapt to fast and dynamic environment

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills

• Ability to work independently and in team setting

• Willing to travel

• DE2 tracking and reporting, including quarterly PDC reporting (by notation)
• Review and Validate DE2 requests raised by BDMs before further approvals, ensuring supporting documentation is sighted and collated for all requests
• Cost Centre expense tracking, monitoring (actual vs budget) and monthly reporting
• Support and review EAFs preparation
• Collate SOPs for the new HNW department, and support the development of new SOPs, custodian for HNW dept SOPs
