The Public Relations Officer will act on behalf of the project site in the management of public relations matters pertaining to the project.

Shall liaise with and assist on all public relations matters pertaining to the construction project, including stakeholder engagement and management, with emphasis on management of public relations matters and public feedback.

Assist in matters relating to the Project Information Centre including maintenance, installation, venue booking.

Able to design, production and distribution of all communication materials (newsletter, flyers, circulars, brochures, etc.) related to the public relations effort.

Organizing engagement and outreach activities, such as briefings, dialogue sessions and exhibitions.

Must be able to engage stakeholders through digital and social media platform.

Have knowledge and ability to communicate construction updates to stakeholders in the vicinity and proximity of the works during the construction period, especially for the major activities such as excavation, piling and concreting.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum O’ Level

3-5 years of Public Relation experience, preferably in construction industry

Preferably with "Effective Workplace Communication for Public Relation Officer Certification", or equivalent

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform security duties at assigned posts and areas within the company property.
• Be vigilant always, monitor people/crowd and property to maintain security and safety for all.
• Respond to all emergencies and alarms.
• Active participation in handling/managing potential safety hazards including fire alarms, emergency situations, bomb threats and building evacuation.
• Respond to first aid incidents and apply effective first aid skills for visitors.

Job Requirements:

• Secondary school education.
• Attained PLRD Senior/Security Office Grade.
• Experience in Security / Construction industry is an advantage.

Job Summary

The Security Guard ensures the safety and security of the company’s yard, vehicles, equipment, and personnel by monitoring access, patrolling premises, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding promptly to incidents. A valid PLRD license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the yard and surrounding areas to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, or hazards
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems to identify security threats or breaches
• Control access by verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering the yard
• Respond immediately to security incidents, emergencies, or accidents to minimize risks and ensure safety
• Enforce compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements during all security operations
• Monitor storage areas for equipment, machinery, and vehicles to prevent loss or damage

Requirements:

• Valid PLRD license (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year of security experience; yard or industrial experience preferred.
• Secondary/High School education or equivalent.
• Physically fit, alert, and able to handle emergencies calmly.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Additional certifications in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Workplace Safety are a plus.
