Job Responsibilities

• To assign job to Technical Assistant, monitoring of assignment progress as per Technical Assistant job scope.
• To arrange preparation for line trial, standard panel and produce data for data.
• To make judgement and approval for colour, workability and other properties.
• To arrange preparation for line trial, standard panel and product data.
• Make arrangement for preparation of specification test and workability test, and assign project to TA's. After that, monitor the progress of the project and analyse the result.
• Responsible for lab 5S activities, such as own area cleaning, monitor overall lab cleanliness, monitor of spray booth, preparation area and oven room cleanliness
• To assist in house troubleshooting and testing activities and also attend customer complaint and investigate the problem based on 4M analysis.
• Arrange and monitor of spray booth major cleaning activities and monitor of waste disposal.
• Responsible for lab administration such as monitor of lab equipment conditions, monitor TA's attendance, performance and overtime, and monitor and purchase of lab consumable items.
• Arrange and monitor of spray booth major cleaning activities and monitor of waste disposal. Responsible for trouble shooting testing, assign job with test instructions to TA's, monitor and analyse test result.
• To attend and prepare report for line trial and customer complaint at customer line
• To make and submit weekly,monthly and other report (test report, visit report, customer complaint and service report).
• Necessary to maintain a sales position with good relationship and discipline approach to customer and delivery of Certificate of Conformance (COC) to customer
• To check and analyse TAs daily check sheet, analyse TA's monthly project tracker.
• Understanding basic legal requirements, company SHE procedures and rules.
• Identify major hazards and understand appropriate safe handling methods of raw materials.
• Product development and project handling
• Assist in production, Quality Control and line service (Analytical and Troubleshooting skills on the spot)
• Arrangement for preparation of specification test and workability test
• Preparation for line trial, standard panel and produce data
• Involve in instruments - Gas Chromatography, Weathering resistance machine , Salt Spray test Machine , Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer , Viscometer (knowledge to ensure the quality of products and understanding the properties products

Job Requirement :

• Minimum Degree in Chemistry / Applied Science / Chemical Engineering
• Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Lotus, Excel)
• With working in Paint / Chemical Industries will be an added advantage
• Experience in lab would be preferred
• Self motivate with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja
