• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and scripts to meet business needs.

• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP, JDBC, or other standard interfaces.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort, prepare technical designs, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Perform testing, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support to resolve platform issues and improve stability.

• Support upgrades, new releases, migrations, and ongoing maintenance of existing customizations and workflows.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles; provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members where needed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, ideally in ITSM and related modules.

• Strong JavaScript skills and working knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, workflow automation, and platform configuration.

• Experience with integrations, testing, and supporting production environments.

• Good understanding of ITIL processes and the ability to work in Agile or cross-functional environments.

Job description

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review current systems architecture, coding methodology and language platforms

• Present ideas for system improvements, including architectural and functional proposals

• Work closely with product owners, sales and operations team to understand areas that may require improvements, fixes, and/or upgrades

• Produce detailed specifications, review code, and develop versions for the applications

• Test the product in controlled environments before releasing to operations sections for functional, regression and usability testing

• Preparation of user, installation, release notes and training manuals

• Maintain the systems and fix of software bugs and incompatibilities, implement new functionality, upgrade releases, implement regulatory compliance changes etc.

Qualifications

• Education level: Secondary diploma or certificate desired.

• Experience: 4 years of software development or related experience. Casino system/product experience is desired, but not mandatory.

• Specific Language Skills: C, C++, Java, SQL

• Other Characteristics/Requirements: expertise in current computer hardware and software, strong communications skills, ability to work in a team, attention to detail and ability to identifying problems

• Spoken and Written Languages: English required

• You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects related to reconciliations and is expected to support the Application Delivery Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
