• Design and implement end-to-end backup and data protection solutions across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct and lead Proof of Concept (POC) sessions to align with customer business and technical requirements.
• Drive and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises to validate RTO and RPO targets.
• Provide technical expertise during implementation and support activities, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with vendors to manage, track, and close technical support cases effectively.

Requirements

• Diploma in IT or equivalent, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise backup and data protection solutions (this is not a backup administrator role).
• Strong knowledge of server environments (Windows Server, Red Hat Linux), networking, and modern storage concepts including tiered, object, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in enterprise backup platforms (e.g., Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault, Veritas, Rubrik) and cloud-native tools, with experience across both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Possess at least one recognised backup certification (e.g., VMCE, Commvault CCE/CCP, Cohesity, Rubrik), with strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
