Industry Research and Analysis

• Assist in gathering and analysing industry information to understand manpower trends and challenges

• Help compile and organise data on industry skills needs and workforce requirements

Stakeholder Engagement Support

• Provide administrative support for meetings with industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders, such as arranging for meetings and writing meeting minutes

• Support the team in preparing meeting materials and following up on action items

Project Coordination

• Support the organisation of activities, such as career events and industry engagement activities

• Assist in basic data collection and compilation for KPI reporting

• Support basic budget tracking and expense documentation

• Support basic data analysis for insights

Innovation and Productivity Initiatives

• Assist in identifying potential areas for process automation and digital transformation

• Support the development and implementation of innovative solutions for routine tasks

• Help document and share best practices for using new technological tools

United Women Singapore Limited (UWS) is a local non-profit organisation with IPC status that advances women’s empowerment and gender equality and builds a pipeline of women leaders and influencers in Singapore. The organisation has been operating for over 28 years and works towards narrowing the gender equality gap through education and raising awareness and advocacy on issues such as women’s empowerment and anti-violence, with the support of key stakeholders including corporate partners, government agencies, academia, the diplomatic community, other non-profit and community groups and the wider community.

We are seeking four dynamic and proactive Interns (1 per function) to support key areas of the organisation: Fundraising, Programme Support, Finance & Administration, and Communications. This internship offers hands-on exposure within a purpose-driven environment, ideal for students from local Polytechnics and Universities who are keen to contribute to meaningful social impact.

Each Intern will be assigned to a specific function while having opportunities to collaborate across teams on organisational initiatives.
1. Fundraising Intern (1 Position)

• Support the development and implementation of diverse fundraising strategies across multiple channels
• Assist in planning and execution of flagship events, donor campaigns, and community initiatives
• Conduct research on potential donors, grant opportunities, and CSR partnerships
• Support outreach efforts, including corporate engagement and donor communications
• Assist in digital fundraising efforts (e.g., social media campaigns, Giving.sg campaigns)

2. Programme Support Intern (1 Position)

• Assist in coordinating and delivering programmes, workshops, and community activities
• Support engagement with beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners
• Help track programme outcomes and prepare reports
• Provide logistical and administrative support for programme implementation

3. Finance & Administration Intern (1 Position)

• Assist with finance processes such as claims tracking, invoice processing, and data entry
• Support administrative functions including documentation, scheduling, and coordination
• Help maintain records in line with audit and compliance requirements
• Provide operational support for procurement and office management

4. Communications Intern (1 Position)

• Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and outreach materials
• Assist in managing digital platforms (e.g., website updates, email campaigns)
• Contribute to storytelling efforts, including impact stories and campaigns
• Track engagement metrics and support communications reporting

Requirements

• Recent graduate from a Polytechnic or University in Singapore
• Preferred fields: Business, Communications, Social Sciences, Accountancy, or related disciplines
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; social media platforms, Canva or similar tools are a bonus
• Interest in the social service / non-profit sector
• Support on-ground events and donor/volunteer activities
• Able to commit to a 6 month internship, preferably full-time.

Marketing Intern

Job Summary

Village Consultancy & Investments Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our marketing and business development initiatives. The intern will assist in digital marketing, content creation, and outreach activities to help grow the company’s presence and generate new business opportunities.

This role provides hands-on experience in marketing strategy, lead generation, and brand development within a fast-growing consultancy and events environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and creating content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

• Support the development of marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, and website content

• Conduct market research and identify potential leads for partnerships and events

• Assist in outreach to potential clients and collaborators

• Support the planning and promotion of events and business initiatives

• Help maintain and update the company website and digital platforms

Internship Details

• Allowance: SGD $1,000 – $1,200 per month

• Duration: Minimum 6 months

• Location: Singapore

Student Level: Grade 11 (IBDP Year 1)
Mode: Online (remote)
Teaching Frequency: 2 lessons per week
Lesson Duration: 1.5 hours per lesson
Class Schedule: Lesson days/timings will be confirmed with the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured online lessons for IBDP Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (HL), Grade 11, aligned with IB curriculum requirements.
• Build the student’s understanding of AI HL topics, including functions, statistics, probability, modelling, and calculus, with a strong focus on application and problem-solving.
• Strengthen the student’s conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and exam-answering skills through IB-style questions and guided practice.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning notes, assignments, and revision materials according to the student’s learning progress and academic needs.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and track progress consistently.

Key Requirements

• Proven teaching/tutoring experience in IBDP Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (HL), preferably for Grade 11 / IBDP Year 1 students.
• Strong understanding of the IB AI HL syllabus, assessment criteria, and examination approach.
• Prior teaching experience at CIS (Canadian International School) will be an advantage.
• Strong English communication and clear online delivery, with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking student.
• Responsible, organized, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
