Re:Nue is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.
Re:Nue also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging its logistics network to deliver aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.
Working closely with local and international organisations, Re:Nue engages them in meaningful programmes for their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing on all electrical and electronic equipment, wiring installations, appliances, and peripherals to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Verify and account for all bulky, electrical, and electronic donated items received in accordance with the Collection Note/Service Note, ensuring proper handling and placement in the designated inbound holding area.
- Ensure all computer (IT equipment) and peripherals are accurately recorded as per the Collection Note/Service Note and appropriately placed in the inbound holding area.
- Verify and account for all furniture received in line with the Collection Note, ensuring proper handling and placement in the inbound holding area.
- Record all incoming items into the home inventory system for accurate tracking.
- Assign reasonable and marketable pricing to all items.
- Clean all items thoroughly to restore them to pristine condition.
- Ensure all items prepared for delivery are properly packed, labeled, and accompanied by the correct documentation before distribution to various stores.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace and surrounding areas at all times.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports with regular updates.
- Undertake projects and specific duties as assigned by management as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment testing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and data entry.
- Ability to handle bulky items and furniture safely.
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure proper documentation and item handling.
- Good organizational skills to maintain accurate records and a tidy workspace.
- Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
Other Requirements:
- Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of items.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Working Days Per Week: alternate 5 and 6 days work week /44 hours
Work Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
