We are seeking an L1 Application Support Analyst to provide first-line support for enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring application performance, handling incidents and service requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive user experience through timely support and resolution of technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for application-related incidents, service requests, and user inquiries.
• Monitor application health and system alerts to identify and respond to issues proactively.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related problems within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.
• Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams and coordinate follow-up activities until resolution.
• Communicate effectively with users by providing timely updates on incident status and resolution progress.
• Perform basic application support activities, including user access management and routine operational tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in shift schedules, on-call support, or weekend support activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in application support, service desk, technical support, or a similar role.
• Understanding of incident management, problem management, and service request processes.
• Familiarity with ticketing and service management tools.
• Basic knowledge of databases, operating systems, and enterprise application environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.

Job Duties

• Work on customer sites within semiconductor cleanroom environments.
• Provide software support for all Semiconductor customers in the Canon’s region.
• Troubleshoot software issues and prepare technical reports for customers.
• Set up and maintain lithography tools and related supporting software.
• Learn and apply fundamental knowledge of lithography tools and operations.
• Prepare software release notes and customer-facing documentation in English.
• Provide support during weekends, public holidays, or nighttime when required (infrequent but possible).
• Travel overseas for business, mainly within Southeast Asia, Japan, Taiwan, and India (future).

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in software support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in the Japanese language (reading, writing, and speaking); Japanese fluency as to support Japanese related customer and HQ
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux OS commands and operations.
• Experience with online specifications, including requirement clarification and specification negotiation with customers, is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

we are looking for an experienced individual with a background in SWIFT-related business domains (standards, payments and securities) and a strong technical knowledge in trading system to join our Reserves and Securities Management Team.  You will be responsible to provide in-depth expertise in SWIFT-related business/technical flows and provide oversight of SWIFT technical design and oversee the review of the SWIFT infrastructure architecture blue-prints with collaboration from MAS internal cross-functional IT and operations teams to ensure the architectural designs meet all there Requirements.

You will be the Point-of-Contact (POC) for the third party’s SWIFT technical team to review and provide guidance on the SWIFT infrastructure implementation planning and co-ordinate with MAS internal teams to ensure resource availability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services, in particular in a technical business lead role
• Extensive experience with banking operations, back-office business operations or back-office system integration knowledge
• Strong technical background, with good understanding of SWIFT’s products, services and applications, including SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Access, SWIFTNet, FIN messaging and ISO 20022 formats
• Strong knowledge of payments and securities messaging and their flows is a must
• Good understanding of SWIFT’s Customer Security Program (CSP) and the proposed controls by SWIFT 
• Identify and pull together the business process owners and the third-party SWIFT team to oversee the modelling of business process
• Review the process using BPM, and coordinating with the third-party SWIFT team to ensure the processes are automated processes, and adopted by business process owners
• Act as the primary contact with MAS functional team and translate the requirements to the third-party analyst and developers when necessary to automate processes
