Job Description

• Responsible in analyzing and troubleshooting customer issues via phone or email as well as on-site
• Taking charge of conducting product application testing for sales reps and customers.
• Responsible in conducting post sales application training to customers.
• In charge of receiving phone calls or emails from sales reps and customers and answering to the enquiries concerning product capabilities, specifications, and applications
• Responsible in creating and updating manuals for post sales application training for customers.
• Responsible to travel yo customer’s site for on-site support including setup, adjustment/ finetuning the system.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 Years of working experience in industrial equipment industry

• Administer enterprise Kafka clusters in Production and UAT.
• Configure broker-level and topic-level settings (retention, replication, partitions, cleanup policies).
• Onboard new applications onto Kafka platform following governance standards.
• Implement SSL/TLS encryption and ACL-based authorization.
• Automate Kafka deployments using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Perform rolling upgrades, patching, and version migrations with minimal downtime.
• Executed Disaster Recovery (DR) flip activity to switch Kafka cluster from Active to Passive environment during maintenance and failover testing.
• Monitor cluster health using Prometheus, Grafana, and Confluent Control Center.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, and Project Managers to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver excellent user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and expected functionality
• Conduct manual and/or automated testing for web and mobile applications
• Ensure software quality standards and testing best practices are followed
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
• Support release testing and production validation
• Analyze test results and prepare testing reports
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
• Knowledge of API testing and database validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts
• ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus
