Tanggungjawab:

• Membangun dan menyelia sistem kawalan bagi mencegah pelanggaran garis panduan perundangan dan dasar dalaman.
• Menilai kecekapan kawalan dan menambah baiknya secara berterusan.
• Semak semula prosedur, laporan dan sebagainya secara berkala untuk mengenal pasti risiko tersembunyi atau isu ketidakpatuhan.
• Menggubal, mengubah suai dan melaksanakan dasar syarikat.
• Bekerjasama dengan penasihat korporat dan jabatan HR untuk memantau penguatkuasaan piawaian dan peraturan.
• Menilai usaha niaga masa hadapan perniagaan untuk mengenal pasti kemungkinan risiko pematuhan.
• Menyemak kerja rakan sekerja apabila perlu untuk mengenal pasti isu pematuhan dan memberikan nasihat atau latihan.
• Sentiasa mengikuti perkembangan kawal selia di dalam atau di luar syarikat serta mengembangkan amalan terbaik dalam kawalan pematuhan.
• Menyediakan laporan untuk pihak pengurusan kanan dan badan kawal selia luaran mengikut kesesuaian.

Responsibilities

• Explore new external data sources to understand availability and quality and make them easily accessible to different stakeholders for different use cases
• Develop solutions that enable investment professionals and data science teams to efficiently extract insights from data. This includes owning the ingestion and transformation
• Work with multiple stakeholders [internal end user, external technical consultants] to drive the development of firm’s enterprise data catalogue system
• Partner with the investment professionals, quantitative researchers, and data scientists to design, develop and deploy solutions that answer fundamental questions about companies, sectors, countries and financial markets
• Build tools and automation capabilities for data pipelines that improve the efficiency, quality and resiliency of our data platform
• Drive the evolution of our data strategy by challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to enhance our platform

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years experience in data engineering with a passion for data and software development
• Proficient in Data Warehousing, Machine Learning, and CI/CD workflows like Jenkins
• Skilled in managing multiple Docker deployments and deploying microservices for backend and ML model hosting
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and preferably Snowflake or similar data warehouse tech
• Programming proficiency in Python and SQL with knowledge of data caching and cloud data reuse strategies
• Background in quantitative hedge funds or technology companies preferred; strong communication skills required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Bonus skills include experience with Generative AI and rapid prototyping frameworks like Streamlit

Design & Development

• Take ownership of the design, development, refactoring, and performance optimization of core system components, delivering high-quality and maintainable code.

Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving

• Research, design, and implement innovative solutions to address complex business and technical problems, particularly in high-concurrency scenarios.

System Architecture

• Contribute to system architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Full-Lifecycle Participation

• Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design to testing, deployment, and operational monitoring.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work effectively with local and regional team members, as well as business unit partners.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
2. Relevant software development experience.
3. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (operating systems, network principles, data structures, and algorithms)
4. Programming Languages: High proficiency in Java (including JVM internals and performance tuning) or Node.js (including its event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming model). Proficiency in both is a significant plus.
5. Frameworks & Middleware: Proficient with common open-source frameworks and tools such as Kafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, and Redis.
6. Deep knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, SQL optimization, and database scaling strategies.
7. System Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining high-concurrency, high-performance, and high-availability systems.
