The Automation & Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated Software & AI Platform Engineer to help drive the next generation of intelligent factory solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of in-house digital platforms that power automation, analytics, and AI-driven operations across semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Beyond traditional software and data engineering, this role focuses on enabling AI capabilities within operational platforms, including intelligent agents, real-time analytics, workflow automation, computer vision, and AI-assisted decision support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software platforms supporting factory automation, analytics, and AI applications.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and backend services for structured and unstructured manufacturing data.
• Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities into operational platforms, including machine learning, generative AI, intelligent agents, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing, automation, IT, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
• Develop solutions that support real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, and streaming analytics environments.
• Participate in the development of AI-enabled applications such as conversational assistants, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, computer vision, or predictive analytics solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, data quality, and security through monitoring, testing, and documentation.
• Support platform interoperability through APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.

We are looking for a motivated Fresh Graduate to support our factory’s digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on data analysis, dashboard development, and digital process improvement within manufacturing operations. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project leads to develop digital tools, automate reporting, and improve operational visibility. This position offers structured learning exposure in manufacturing analytics, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Support development of dashboards and automated reports for production KPIs (UPH, OEE, Yield, Downtime).
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating production data from multiple systems.
• Support automation of manual reporting processes using Excel, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Assist in system testing, documentation, and user training materials for digital tools.
• Support project tracking activities (update status, follow up on action items).
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand manufacturing requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methods.

• Research and implement innovative ways to test/validate PCIe/NVMe SSD’s.
• Work with cross-functional teams for POC and architecture discussions for validation infrastructure.
• Creating and maintaining technical and process documents.
• Develop device driver, critical framework, modules on top of Real time OS
• Work in peripherals like USB, PCIe, advanced serial interfaces for Infrastructure

• Develop, integrate, and debug Verification IP (VIP) for industry‑standard protocols (e.g., PCIe or similar)
• Perform VIP‑based simulation using Siemens Questa / Questa Advanced Simulator
• Configure, customize, and maintain Avery VIPs (or equivalent) for block‑level, subsystem, and SoC‑level environments

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We’re hiring a Sr. Operational Technology Security Engineer (OT) to manage Sandisk’s OT visibility and resilience program across high‑technology manufacturing sites. You’ll stand up and mature our OT monitoring solution, integrate telemetry into our SIEM, and partner with factory operations to ensure security without disrupting production.

This role owns engineering, delivery, and ongoing operations of OT security—bridging engineering, manufacturing, and the SOC—so that Sandisk maintains continuous production with zero downtime due to internal cybersecurity incidents.

• Program Partnership: Assist in defining and executing the OT security roadmap, aligning with corporate cybersecurity strategy and manufacturing uptime objectives.
• OT Monitoring Deployment: Manage installation and configuration of OT monitoring platforms such as Nozomi Networks, Claroty, Dragos, Armis, ensuring proper sensor placement for maximum visibility.
• Traffic Analysis & Protocol Coverage: Implement tools for deep packet inspection and protocol analysis (e.g., Wireshark, Zeek, Suricata) to monitor Modbus, Profinet, DNP3, OPC-UA, and other industrial protocols.
• SIEM Integration: Collaborate with SOC and architecture teams to stream OT telemetry into SIEM/SOAR platforms, develop detection logic, and optimize alerting to reduce false positives.
• Asset & Risk Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive OT asset inventory, vulnerability management process, and configuration baselines for critical systems.
• Network Segmentation & Access Control: Participate in segmentation projects, firewall rule reviews, and identity separation between IT and OT environments; implement secure remote vendor access protocols.
• Incident Response & Resilience: Participate in creating OT-specific incident response playbooks, conduct tabletop exercises, and ensure disaster recovery plans meet manufacturing continuity requirements.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to NIST CSF, IEC 62443, and corporate security policies; prepare for internal and external audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with onsite IT teams and Manufacturing leadership to schedule changes, minimize production impact, and jointly achieve zero-downtime objectives.
• Metrics & Reporting: Manage KPIs (e.g., telemetry coverage, MTTR, segmentation compliance) and deliver executive-level reporting on OT security posture.
