Clinic Assistant for Medical Clinic (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

• Patients Registration
• Preparing and Dispensing medications
• Payment collection
• Chaperone / assist the doctors (if necessary)
• Manned the clinic counters & administrative duties
• Handles clinic stocks and inventory
• Perform basic tests on patient (E.g. measurement of height, weight, administering urine test, vision test etc.)

Requirements:

• Min “N” level or equivalent, must be able to work independently with min supervision
• Work on Monday to Thursday (9am to 5pm), Friday (9am to 2pm).
• Min. 2 years of experience working in medical clinic
• Must be able to converse in English and liaise with Mandarin speaking patients
• Computer literate.
• Able to start work immediately.

City Square Mall @ Farrer Park (nearest MRT Farrer Park)

6 days work week, early and afternoon shift switch.

With or without experience is ok as will need to go for course and get certified.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Attend to all patients’ inquiries, either through call-in or walk-in, promptly and courteously.
• Register patients, either for an appointment or walk-in treatment.
• Upon completion of consultation and treatment, discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting accurate payment, and scheduling of next appointments.
• Collect payment accurately, either by cash, nets, cheques, or credit cards.
• Enter every consultation and treatment fee as well as sales of products into the computer accurately.
• Print receipts/tax invoices and medical certificates from the computer.
• Filing of patients’ treatment cards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the clinic at all times.
• Check and receive delivery of clinic’s supplies from Approved Vendor.
• Pack clinic supplies and medications received in the prescribed manner.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Company, the Doctors, Clinic Supervisor(s), or AM of the clinic.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Nitec and above, in any field.
• Required communication skills, Inter-Personal Skills.
• No work experience is required for entry-level Patient Relationship Officer.

Willing to work on holidays/work on shifts/change of shift

Able to work and stand for long hours

Proficient knowledge of foot reflexology, Tui Na massage, body oil massage, sports and/or deep tissue massage.

Decent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent people skills.

Well-groomed, professional appearance.

Meeting with clients and conducting an initial assessment.

Explaining to new clients the principles and methods of reflexology.

Applying hands-on massage to patient’s feet and to a lesser extent their hands and ears.

Instructing the client in self-reflexology techniques to be practised at home.

Keeping detailed patient notes.

Setting out a plan of future treatment.

Advising patients to seek mainstream medical treatment where necessary.
