- Acts as a scientific expert between Bayer andthe medical community through the dissemination and education of scientificdata and material.
- Establishes long-term scientific or strategicrelationships with key, influential physicians, scientists, stakeholders andwith related major medical associations and academic centres of excellence.
- Uses his/her experience and knowledgeinteracting with key external medical and pharmacy professionals through theprocess of education via one-on-one interaction; small group discussion andsymposia lecture presentations including interactions associated with sponsoredmedical education programs and research protocols.
- Facilitates Thought Leaders’ (TL) involvement innational, regional and local educational forums including advisory boards,symposia and Continuing Medical Education (CMEs).
- Serves as an important partner to internalstakeholders within Bayer by communicating relevant information from TLs to keycross-functional partners
