Duties and Responsibilities

·      Manage daily library operations, including resources, systems, and circulation services

·      Support library programmes, user services, and literacy initiatives

·      Supervise students and maintain a safe, conducive learning environment

·      Administer and monitor Late-Coming (LC) records and student data

·      Coordinate and supervise detention, suspension, and student management processes

·      Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and follow-up actions

·      Provide administrative support, including budgeting, resource coordination, and compliance with school policies

·      Other duty as assigned under Student Affairs& Services Department

Job Requirements

·      Nitec or its equivalent from the Library Association of Singapore

·      Working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a secondary school environment

·      Experience in using the Spydus system will be an added advantage

·      Ability to supervise students firmly and professionally

·      Proficiency in spreadsheets and administrative tools

·      Working Hours: 9 am - 6.30 pm (Mon to Thu) and 9 am - 6 pm (Fri)

Job Scope:

• Management of Resources

Regular Inventory management in Science Labs including stock-take, replenishing, repairs and replacement
Assist HOD (Science) to liaise with vendors in procurement for inventory management in Science Labs
Organise resources neatly with name labels in the Science Labs
Assist the teacher to facilitate student discussions
Tidying up of Science Labs

• Preparation of Resources

Co-ordinate loan request from teachers in the Science Labs
Preparing and set up of resources according to scheme of work & specifications given by teachers in the Science Labs
Printing and photocopying jobs in the Printing Room
Preparation of teaching aids such as cutting and lamination works in the Science Labs

• Administrative Duties:

Assist with other ad-hoc administrative duties and preparation of resources for the Authority as required by the school and/or department.

Requirements:

• 1 year of working experience in Primary School Science Lab

Contract Period: From 17 Aug 2026 to 16 Aug 2028
Location: Punggol
Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm
