Embedded Linux & IoT Application Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux & IoT Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation and connected device solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Embedded Linux, IoT protocols, middleware development, device integration, and cloud connectivity. You will play a key role in building scalable systems that connect sensors, controllers, mobile applications, and cloud platforms for smart building and automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Embedded Linux and IoT applications using Python and C.
• Design and implement communication solutions using MQTT, Modbus, RS485, and REST APIs.
• Integrate various hardware devices including sensors, controllers, RFID readers, Android terminals, and edge computing devices.
• Develop middleware services enabling real-time communication between embedded devices, backend servers, cloud platforms, and mobile applications.
• Build and support automation systems for smart buildings, room automation, access control, lift integration, and related IoT applications.
• Design secure and reliable device-to-cloud connectivity architectures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize embedded software and Linux-based systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Deploy and manage applications on Linux platforms using Docker containers and systemd services.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, mobile developers, cloud teams, and project stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and maintenance guides.
• Participate in system testing, commissioning, and production deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Embedded Linux application development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C.
• Hands-on experience with MQTT, Modbus, RS485, and REST API integration.
• Experience integrating IoT devices, sensors, controllers, RFID systems, and Android-based terminals.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and system administration.
• Experience with Docker containerization and system service management.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based IoT platforms and device management solutions.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and communication protocols.

• Salary: $ 4k to $6k (No Commission)

Requirements:

• At least 1 year or more experience in the electronics field preferably in components sale
• Familiar with Semiconductor design and application 
• Class 3 driving license
• IEEE graduates an advantage but diploma holders must have electronics background
• Must have good knowledge of local electronics business and be prepared to work hard meet the company’s goals and objectives
• Understand what is a Memory, Logic, MosFets etc.. (Will provide training if needed)

We are seeking a highly motivated C-arm and X-ray Application Consultant to join our X-ray imaging team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our advanced imaging technology and healthcare providers, ensuring optimal utilization of our C-arm systems. This role combines technical expertise, clinical knowledge, and strong customer service skills to support distributors, train end users and contribute to product optimization. The role will also support Digital Radiology (DR) application team when/if there is a need within the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical support to both distributors and end customers regarding C-arm imaging applications.
• Conduct on-site and remote system demonstrations, training sessions, and workflow guidance for radiology staff and distributor teams.
• Assist distributors in addressing application-related queries and troubleshooting to ensure seamless customer support.
• Analyze customer workflows and recommend optimal system configurations to improve efficiency, image quality, and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and R&D teams to communicate distributor and customer feedback for product improvements.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, user manuals, and training materials for distributors and end users.
• Stay updated on industry trends, clinical protocols, and emerging imaging technologies.
• Participate in product launches, workshops, and continuing education initiatives for distributors and healthcare providers.
• Self-training in software changes.
• Provide pre-sales support to our partners and channel managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in medical imaging with regional exposure.
• Strong knowledge and technical expertise in C-arm imaging systems and medical imaging software.
• Strong understanding of radiology workflows, imaging protocols, and dose management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with both distributor teams and clinical stakeholders.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and demonstrations.
• Fluent in English. Other languages a plus.
• Travel to distributor and customer sites as required. Travel requirements up to 70%.
