Background

A trading company is in the process of implementing a new SAP S/4HANA–based ERP system, scheduled to go live in early February. As part of this transformation, the Philippines entity is addressing challenges related to statutory tax reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Currently, there are issues with extracting accounting data from a legacy system and uploading it into SAP Business One due to errors in an existing uploader (UL) tool. In parallel, a new uploader solution aligned with the upcoming SAP S/4HANA ERP system needs to be designed and implemented.

To support both immediate issue resolution and future‑ready solution development, an experienced consultant is required to work closely with business users, local development partners, and the global ERP implementation team.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for both current‑state stabilization and future solution delivery, including:

• Conduct current-state analysis of the UL tool and organize business/system requirements for the enhancement.

As a Vice President in Asset & Wealth Management’s International Private Bank Client Operations, you will support an integrated team delivering seamless end-to-end client lifecycle support.In this role, you will oversee risk and control frameworks across onboarding, KYC, and account management, ensuring a robust, compliant, and efficient operating environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and monitor risk and control frameworks across Client Operations

• Provide risk and control design expertise to support strategic initiatives

• Advise and influence senior stakeholders on key risk and control decisions

• Conduct process walkthroughs, risk identification, and control design/testing

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and control requirements

• Manage end-to-end issues lifecycle including root cause analysis and remediation validation

• Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute action plans to address control gaps

• Identify and track key risk metrics to assess control environment health

• Drive risk and control initiatives (e.g., training, awareness programs)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field

• 8 plus years experience in financial services, risk management, or process improvement

• Strong risk and control mindset with ability to identify and escalate control gaps

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities

• Consultative approach with ability to anticipate business needs

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in private banking, wealth management, or asset management

• Knowledge of client onboarding, KYC, and AML processes

• Experience in audit, regulatory, or compliance environments

• Familiarity with internal controls and three lines of defense model

• Perform product costing activities including material, labour, overheads, and variance analysis to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Min 6–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance, costing, or business partnering
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and cost drivers
