- Min 5 years accounting experience, with at least 2 years in construction, M&E, or lift/contracting sector preferred. Strong knowledge of GST, project billing, and construction contracts.

- Proficient in Xero/MYOB/SQL accounting software + Excel.

Core Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Maintain full sets of accounts for the holding company and assigned subsidiaries in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Prepare and review all companies’ monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
• Perform group consolidation of financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
• Prepare, review all companies, and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns via myTax Portal, ensuring compliance with IRAS regulations
• Handle corporate tax matters, including preparation and submission of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and Form C/Form C-S filings for the Group
• Monitor and manage group cash flow, including preparation of weekly cash flow and cash position reports
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act 1967 and IRAS guidelines
• Oversee monthly payroll processing in compliance with local regulations, including CPF contributions, and prepare annual Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) submissions to IRAS
• Lead, supervise, and develop the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and strong internal controls
• Liaise with overseas subsidiaries’ finance teams to ensure alignment in reporting and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with external parties, including auditors, local and overseas corporate secretarial agents (for Statutory filings), overseas tax agents, and bankers
• Work with IT service providers to ensure web hosting, email, accounting, and payroll systems are properly maintained and compliant

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a group or multi-entity environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax framework, and IRAS compliance requirements
• Familiarity with ACRA statutory requirements and corporate governance practices
• Hands-on experience with accounting and payroll systems (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Timesoft, WhyzeHR)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders across different jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance 

• Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS/IFRS. 

• Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting, tax filing, and regulatory requirements in Singapore and other jurisdictions as the group expands. 

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers. 

Management & Performance Reporting 

• Prepare consolidated management reports, including variance analysis, KPIs tracking, and commentary on financial performance against budget and forecast. 

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards to support operational decision-making by the CFO and other business leaders. 

Budgeting & Forecasting 

• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads. 

• Monitor actual performance against budget, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions. 

Post-Acquisition Integration 

• Support the finance integration of acquired companies, particularly those in China, ensuring alignment of accounting policies, ERP systems, and internal controls. 

• Work closely with the local finance teams in China to harmonize reporting standards and streamline consolidation. 

Internal Controls & Process Improvement 

• Enhance and document internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. 

• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, leveraging technology to automate and scale. 

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management 

• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital to optimize liquidity and support operational needs. 

• Assist in managing banking relationships and financing arrangements. 

Team Leadership & Development 

• Supervise and mentor a small finance team (e.g., accountants, analysts) in Singapore. 

• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous learning. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent is strongly preferred. 

• Experience: 

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. 

• Prior experience in manufacturing, MedTech, CDMO, or life sciences industries is highly desirable. 

• Experience working in a private equity-backed company or exposure to M&A/post-acquisition integration is a strong plus. 

• Familiarity with cross-border operations (especially China-Singapore) is advantageous. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and Singapore tax regulations. 

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
