Your mission

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative Credit Risk Underwriter to join our growing team. In this role, you will report to the Regional Underwriting Director and play a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for Nuvei clients in Japan. • Investigate and resolve invoice disputes to facilitate timely payments or credit issuance
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances
• Engage customers to secure payments and negotiate payment plans
• Place delinquent accounts on hold where necessary until payment arrangements are confirmed
• Recommend escalation of accounts to collection agencies when required
• Build and maintain relationships with external credit and collection agencies
• Maintain accurate records of credit risks, delinquent accounts, and related documentation
• Ensure timely updates of electronic and physical records
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in credit control or accounts receivable
