Responsibilities

• Assist the site representation in monitoring work quality and ensure project timelines comply with local building codes
• Help interpret design goals and system requirements to assist in the efficient management of material resources
• Support communication with subcontractors by helping review quotations and verifying that materials delivered to site match engineering drawings.
• Assist in gathering technical specifications from vendors and comparing competitive quotations for equipment.
• Help supervise temporary site works and installation phases to ensure everything is ready for operations.
• Work with site teams to maintain high safety standards and technical accuracy during all installation phases.
• Maintain accurate daily operational logs and help prepare reports or documentation for management review.
• Support management in driving technical projects or system improvements to enhance facility performance.
• Working Days: Mon to Fri & Alternative Sat

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Fresh graduates from Polytechnic or ITE are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in M&E detailing, HVAC systems, or industrial facility environments
• Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and contractors.
• Basic analytical skills to help troubleshoot system issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of AutoCAD or similar engineering software is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

·      Project Management including project scheduling, execution and handing over of commissioned systems

·      To Provide Engineering support to project team and customers, including field work as when required

·      To monitor project resources, budget, schedule and scope of work

Job Requirements:

·      Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the Hull & Outfitting Sectionto ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, work plans and performancerequirements.
• Carry out structural analysis of hull and structures.
• Responsible for the design of all tertiary steel structuresincluding accessway, platforms, structure for material and equipment handling,vessel mooring system etc.
• Prepare bill of material, review and selection of materials.
• Coordinate / executive contract specification requirements and production inputs into engineering drawing / document.
• Provide progress reporting and schedule management of engineering deliverables.
• Perform site visits to solve engineering problems when required to determine existing conditions or verify new construction.
• Coordinate with other production team members,subcontractors and consultants to resolve technical issues onsite which affectthe hull and outfitting schedule and project deliverables.
• Liaises with QA/QC, owners, statutory and classificationauthorities for completed outfitting installation inspection and acceptance(i.e. Piping systems, HVAC, electrical cabling, fitting equipment and equipmentfoundation) to sign off completion.
• Meet with vendors, client reps, accreditation representatives when required.
• Review and reply to class comments.
• Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in a marine/offshore industry and a Diploma in naval architecture, structural or marine or related engineering discipline or minimum 6 years working in a marine/offshore industry
• Prior experience in newbuild and conversion of AHTS.
• Familiarity with Marine &Offshore rules, regulations and requirements
• Knowledge of Intergraph Software will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task
• A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
