Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for building and construction projects, ensuring safety compliance and timely delivery. Lead site supervision, troubleshooting, and customer support to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for building and construction projects to meet technical and safety standards
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using basic AutoCAD to support project documentation
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems including PLC machinery, VFD controllers, motors, and generators to ensure operational reliability
• Perform electrical installation of power points, HT/LT cable work, and distribution panels to meet project requirements
• Maintain and repair electrical infrastructures such as switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, alarm systems, and security systems to ensure continuous functionality
• Supervise site activities, monitor progress, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project completion
• Attend project meetings, resolve site issues, and enforce compliance with safety standards, leveraging BCSS certification
• Provide professional customer support and manage on-site complaints to maintain client satisfaction
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and prioritize safety in all electrical operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Holder of Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS) certification
• Class 3C Driving License

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics or related field
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in precision engineering, building maintenance, service engineering, and data center projects
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, control panel design, motorized valves, solenoid valves, and sensor systems
• Proven ability in generator maintenance, electrical motor troubleshooting, and water pump systems
• Skilled in supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering projects on time
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, and basic AutoCAD
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Duties and responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of electrical installations and report findings on site.

- Coordinate with clients and contractors for Electrical Maintenance work.

- Carry out on-site testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems

- Prepare reports on findings and recommendations from inspection and maintenance work.

- Lead and manage a team of technical officers/ technicians.

- Attend to Electrical incidents and power outages. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain reliability of their Electricity Supply.

- Liaise with clients and provide advice on their Electrical systems

- Plan, manage and execute Electrical project works.

- Assist with Electrical Design and consultancy work.

- All other ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) preferred

With class 3 driving license preferred

Ability to work with others as a team.

Punctual and positive attitude

Comfortable with on-site environment

Analytical and problem solving skills, able to quickly make sense of a situation and propose solutions.

Expect to work odd hours depending on work schedule and requirements

Responsibilities

• Execute one or more industrial automation projects in parallel

• Report to the Lead engineer and/or Project Manager and deliver the project in compliance to customer specifications

• Responsible for the Draft technical design for project and prepare associated documentations/drawings

• Develop PLC program and HMI graphics as per project requirements

• Conduct internal hardware & software integrated testing and Factory Acceptance Test

• Conduct testing & commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests at customer’s site

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in automation industry with DCS/PLC project execution

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering related disciplines.

• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and safety instrumented systems will be an advantage.

• Working knowledge with Siemens Step-7, WinCC and PCS7 preferred

• Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Able to work independently and as a team player

• Proficient in English (written and verbal)

• Able to travel within short notice & to developing countries

• Permanent Residents & Singaporeans preferred
