Roles & Responsibilities
The Rotating Shift Technician is responsible for supporting 24Ă—7 data centre operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuity of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), critical infrastructure, and facilities systems in accordance with approved procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and safety requirements.
·      Perform continuous monitoring, routine patrols, and inspection of data centre infrastructure, critical facilities, and associated equipment.
·      Manage day-to-day maintenance coordination, and escalate any critical troubleshooting requirements that needs to be conducted by manufacturers.
·      Conduct routine checks of M&E and critical systems performance.
·      Record and report daily operating conditions, abnormalities, and system status.
·      Supervise and oversee OEMs, subcontractors, and service vendors performing works on electrical, mechanical, fire, and critical facilities systems.
·      Ensure all vendors deliver competent, safe, and quality services in compliance with contractual obligations, site rules, and safety requirements.
·      Coordinate and monitor scheduled and ad-hoc vendor activities, ensuring proper documentation and work completion.
·      Promptly respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations.
·      Execute incident escalation in accordance with approved escalation matrices and emergency response procedures.
·      Provide standby and emergency support when activated, including shift stand-in or additional coverage as required.
·     Ensure proper handover and takeover of duties during shift changes.
·      Carry out duties that comply with approved SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), MOPs (Method of Procedures), and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures).
·      Carry out all work strictly in accordance with site processes, operational governance, and safety regulations.
