Job Responsibilities:

1. Standards Development & Governance:

• Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive global standards, SOPs, and service level agreements for all aftersales distributors and dealers.
• Lead the annual store assessment and grading program to measure compliance and performance.
• Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure adherence to policies and work towards best-in-class service benchmarks.

2. Performance Management & Business Excellence:

• Define, set, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for the aftersales network.
• Monitor, review, and report on channel performance, providing insights and coaching to distributors/dealers to achieve excellence.

3. Technical & Operational Readiness:

• Assess and report on the readiness of the service network to support new product launches and existing vehicle models.
• Lead the evaluation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) adequacy across the network, including:
• Special tooling and diagnostic equipment.
• Facility suitability and workshop layout.
• Technician skills and training needs.
• Manpower planning and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering & Technical Support team to conduct these assessments.

4. Training Support:

* Support the HQ training department in the planning and development of training centre curricula to ensure non-technical and soft skills meet brand standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive aftersales, with significant exposure to dealer network management, standards development, or service operations.

* Proven experience in developing SOPs, conducting audits, and implementing performance management systems (KPIs).

* Strong analytical skills with experience and root-cause investigation.

* Excellent knowledge of workshop operations, parts logistics, and technical service requirements.

* Experience with DMS and other aftersales IT systems is essential.

* Project management experience is highly desirable.

• Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and customer inquiries via email, social media, and chat to provide accurate information.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally and within a timely manner to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products to answer customer questions effectively.
• Identify and act on opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to customers.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.
• Follow company policies and procedures when managing customer requests and issues.
• Participate in training programs to continuously improve customer service skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in customer service or knowledge of Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation systems are preferred.
• Proficiency with Simplify software, Excel, and other customer service tools.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills applied to customer interactions.
• Positive and empathetic attitude toward customers.
• Chinese or Japanese language skills (added advantage for communicating with specific customer segments).

Key Job Accountabilities:

Engine/Product Production Support Repair

1) Tool Support (Primary Function)

• Design and develop repair fixtures/jigs/tools to support operational requirements, ensuring compliances with safety standards, dimensional tolerances and quality specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers and end-users for fabrication and procurement of tools/equipment/consumables
• Perform tooling/consumable equivalency reviews
• Carry out First Article or support validation of new or modified fixtures/jigs/tools with repair engineers on repairs
• Lead or assist in investigation/root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for tooling failures/operational issues
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, optimizing existing tool performances, durability or safety
• Maintain tool documentation, maintenance (i.e. CAD drawings, BOMs, tool maintenance requirements) and support audits with authorities
• Conduct feasibility studies and tool cost analysis for significant projects
• Perform 3D scanning, printing as part of tool design or prototype trials.

2) Production Support

• Perform measurements or establish programs using measurement systems (e.g. CMM, Optical Gaging Products, Optical 3D Metrology) to support operations
• Support programming in machining process (e.g. Conventional G-codes CNCs)
• Take charge of engineering documentation support functions

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering
• Preferably 3 years working experience in Engines or Components Repair MRO Environment to be independently contributing
• Strong fundamentals in engineering drawing interpretations and GD&T
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering design skillsets (e.g. Autocad, Solidworks)
• Strong knowledge of tool material properties/heat treatment/surface coatings
• Proficiency in CNC programming, using measurement systems is an advantage
• Strong language, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Understanding of repair processes is an added advantage
• Some understanding of aviation regulatory requirements is an advantage
