Job Summary
Execute land surveying projects by ensuring data accuracy, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with engineers and architects to meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
• Execute land and property surveys according to project requirements to provide accurate site data
• Supervise survey operations and coordinate with construction and design teams using approved plans to meet client specifications
• Examine historical survey records to verify data accuracy and support project decisions
• Research and develop improved survey methods to enhance process efficiency and accuracy
• Operate and apply survey equipment and tools to measure land features precisely, including longitudes and latitudes
• Create detailed maps, sketches, and charts to visually represent survey data
• Lead and guide field staff to ensure quality and compliance during survey activities
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly to ensure operational reliability
• Compile and report survey results, presenting findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on multiple projects to integrate survey data into design and construction plans
• Monitor and review compliance with standards derived from survey results to uphold quality and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Diploma/ Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent or NCCS
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building and infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying methods, setting out works, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and use of modern survey instruments (e.g., total station, GPS).
• Familiar with local authority requirements and industry standards in Singapore.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
