Your Role

You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction programs across APAC for mission-critical facilities. This includes managing full builds, fit-outs, upgrades, and infrastructure works. You will oversee budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful project execution and handover to operations teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead construction delivery from project inception through completion and handover

• Implement and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSSE standards

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans

• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to define project goals and execution strategy

• Oversee procurement, contractor selection, negotiation, and contract management

• Manage construction documents, change orders, and project closeout documentation

• Identify and implement value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

• Track project performance, risks, and issues; implement mitigation plans

• Provide regular project updates and maintain strong stakeholder communication

• Ensure construction quality control and adherence to industry standards

• Manage governance and reporting structures across regional stakeholders

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience as Construction Manager / Director, preferably in mission-critical infrastructure

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices

• Familiarity with MEP systems and large-scale facility construction

Advantageous

• Experience in data centers, colocation, hyperscale, or high-availability facilities

• Experience managing large contractors and EPC vendors

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution, monitoring, and successful completion.

• Develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.

2. Budget & Financial Management

• Establish, manage, and control project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to financial goals.

• Track expenses, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project profitability and efficiency.

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, government agencies, contractors, and internal teams.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project managers, engineers, and site teams to foster a high-performance work environment.

• Ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives across all project stakeholders.

4. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to uphold construction quality and safety.

5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving

• Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

• Resolve conflicts and unforeseen challenges promptly to minimize project disruptions.

• Ensure contingency plans are in place to address potential risks and delays.

6. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Drive innovation and efficiency in construction methods and project management practices.

• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

7. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure projects adhere to legal, safety, and quality standards in alignment with industry regulations.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and compliance.

8. High-Level Representation & Negotiation

• Represent the company in high-level negotiations and project discussions with government entities, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management tools, and local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
