Job Description:

• Prepare Schedule for the flawless execution of assigned projects.
• Keeping the project on schedule, on budget and within the specifications.
• Develop costing for assigned tender with resourceful idea or proposal.
• Liase with supplier/ vendor/ contractors with acknowledgement of direct superior
• Ensure the material to be onsite as per target date
• Site coordination among consultant, client, supplier, vendor and contractor
• Communicate with client/ owner/ end use effectively with proper understanding by interpret their needs and requirement.

• Engineering drawing preparation
• Prepare site progress report as per project requirement.
• Prepare Method of Statement for the construction work
• Plan and arrange for testing and commissioning of the project to meet specification and requirement.
• Ensure all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company
• SOPs as well as external regulations and laws
• Prepare handover documents once the project completion.

Job Requirements:

• Posses Degree certification in Electrical / Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably more than 2 years & above in construction line working experience
• Have experience in project sites
• Able to work with minimum supervision

Job Description

• Working Location: Central (Walk distance from MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 Days/ 5.5 Days, 44 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project costs and commercial aspects for marine, coastal, and infrastructure developments from tender stage through project completion and final account settlement.
• Review tender documentation, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract conditions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Develop cost plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), procurement packages, and commercial assessments.
• Obtain and compare quotations, assess subcontractor and supplier submissions, and provide recommendations for award.
• Carry out quantity take-offs, measurement, and valuation of completed works, including progress payments, variation orders, and final account preparation.
• Track project expenditures, budgets, and cash flow performance while identifying potential commercial risks and opportunities.
• Manage subcontract administration and ensure contractual obligations are properly fulfilled.
• Prepare and maintain contractual communications, documentation, and project records.
• Support the preparation and submission of variation claims, contractual claims, and interim payment applications.
• Coordinate with project personnel, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.

• At least 3 years of quantity surveying experience in marine, coastal, port, reclamation, offshore or major infrastructure projects..
• Prior exposure to marine tendering processes and subcontract procurement activities is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of quantity measurement, cost management, variation administration, progress payment claims, and final account settlement.
• Experience working with public sector agencies such as HDB, JTC, PSA, MPA, or equivalent organizations will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Study project scope, drawings, specifications, Schedule of Price preambles, and contract conditions to prepare accurate tender cost estimates.

• Prepare and submit tender documents and respond to client clarifications during the tender process.

• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support tender and quotation submissions.

• Prepare engineering estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and bid documents based on drawings, specifications, and method statements.

• Develop project budgets and monitor project expenditures to ensure effective cost control.

• Prepare and maintain project cash flow forecasts based on approved project schedules and interim payments.

• Liaise with Project Managers and site personnel to gather work progress details and supporting documents for monthly progress claims.

• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients and follow up on payment certifications.

• Monitor design changes and variations and submit the necessary notifications to clients.

• Coordinate with engineers to obtain instructions and supporting documentation for variation works.

Requirements

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, roadworks, utility works, or construction projects is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of tendering processes, contract administration, budgeting, cost control, and variation management.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
