Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum ofaccounting activities for assigned entities, including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, schedules, and supporting documentation within reporting deadlines.
• Support group reporting requirements, including consolidation schedules and submissions for joint venture and investment entities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, monitor collections, and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
• Assist with tax-related matters, including GST, withholding tax filings, tax schedules, and supporting documentation for tax computations.
• Coordinate and support external audits by preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, and responding to auditor queries.
• Assist with treasury activities such as cash flow monitoring, banking administration, loan servicing, and fund management requirements.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, system enhancement, and process improvement initiatives, as well as other finance-related projects assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior exposure to property, real estate, investment holding, or related industries will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Cognos, or similar financial reporting platforms will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring costcontrol and alignment with approved financial plans, including trackingvariations arising from design changes.
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and budget appraisals,including development of cost plans for project evaluation and approval.
• Carry out quantity measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities(BOQ), as well as detailed cost data compilation for project planning purposes.
• Support procurement activities by working with internal teams to sourcevendors, maintain approved vendor lists, and provide technical and quantityinputs.
• Lead or support tender exercises, including preparation, evaluation, andcoordination of tender submissions and documentation.
• Oversee post-contract cost management, including budget updates, cashflow projections, and tracking of actual versus planned costs.
• Manage and assess variation orders, claims, and final accounts,including review of external QS assessments and financial submissions.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders toprovide cost analysis, value engineering input, and resolve project-relatedcost issues, while attending technical and progress meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, CivilEngineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with local and asiaprojects.
• Strong technical knowledge of cost estimation, contract administration,tendering, and post-contract management processes.
• Proficient in electronic measurement and cost planning tools.
