Lead and manage tender preparation, including quantity take-off, cost estimation, pricing, and compilation of tender submissions.
Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and cost factors.
Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for tender pricing.
Prepare tender clarifications, attend tender interviews, and support negotiation process.
Prepare, review, and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for civil and infrastructure works.
Handle full spectrum of quantity surveying duties including measurement, cost planning, and cost control.
Administer contracts, including preparation and evaluation of variations, claims, and final accounts.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and cost-related matters.
Monitor project progress and ensure costs are kept within budget.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare subcontract documents.
Conduct site measurements and verify work done for progress claims.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation claims, and cost reports.
Identify potential risks and advise on cost implications and mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and local regulations.
Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors where required.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Singapore, preferably in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of local construction practices, contracts, and authorities’ requirements.
Experience in handling main contractor or subcontractor roles is an advantage.
Familiar with standard forms of contract (e.g., PSSCOC).
Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
