Position: Senior Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) for Good Class Bungalows

Responsibilities

• Design Engineering: Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Structural Analysis: Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety.
• Code Compliance: Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs.
• Concept Design: Create structural concepts focused on economic efficiency to optimize resource use and project feasibility.
• Reporting: Report project progress and technical findings clearly to the Project Director and management.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design.
• Compliance: Proficient in applying local design standards and codes throughout project execution.
• Software Skills: Proficient in engineering design software, including Tekla , Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, AutoCad, GStar, etc.
• Professional Status: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status will be considered for company equity shares.

Job Summary

You will design and develop electrical switchboards, consoles, and control panels that meet customer specifications and company standards, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material requisition lists aligned with job requirements to support production planning
• Design electrical switchboards, consoles, and control panels according to customer specifications and company standards to deliver functional and compliant solutions
• Develop and submit approval drawings, shop drawings, final drawings, short circuit calculations, and instruction manuals for client approval and shop floor production
• Coordinate technical requirements and participate in discussions with clients and consultants to ensure alignment and resolve issues
• Communicate changes in technical requirements to Sales & Marketing Department to support claims for additional costs and time adjustments
• Review and follow up on design and shop drawings with production departments to ensure accuracy and feasibility

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design engineers and architects to define, document and implement detailed test plans for the SoC design verification
• Build and maintain infrastructure/environment for automation verification of SoC architecture, function and performance
• Develop reusable testbench, constrained-random/directed test cases, and verification associated behavioural modules for both block levels and system levels.

Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of UVM/OVM, Semiformal Verification, assertion-based verification as well as hardware and software co-verification methodology
• Extensive experience of building verification infrastructure, test planning, coverage closure, testbench and test cases development for function/performance verification
• Proficient experience with Verilog, System Verilog, Python/Perl/TCL/Shell scripting, C/C++, System C and industry mainstream ISAs assembly coding
• Familiarity with MIPI, AMBA (APB/AHB/AXI) bus protocol, RISC-V/ARM or DSP core
• Experience in verifying designs at both RTL level and post-P&R gate level
