-Malaysian age below 35.

-Possess minimum LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting.

-2-3 years experience in handling accounting functions, ideally in similar logistics sector industry.

-Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts and foreign currency transactions would be an advantage.

-Prior experience using CargoWise advantageous. 

-Intermediate Excel skills.

-Highly professional work approach and ability to tight deadlines.

-Must be proficient in written and oral English plus conversant in BM and advantageous if also Mandarin.

角色與職責

主要職責範圍如下：

職位要求

-馬來西亞籍，年齡低於35歲。

- 至少持有LCCI會計文憑。

Accounts Executive

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. This role offers valuable hands-on exposure across multiple areas of accounting and provides an excellent opportunity for candidates who are keen to develop towards managing a full set of accounts.

Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including customer invoicing, payment collection follow-ups, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP)functions, including processing supplier invoices, payment preparation, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper recording of daily financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of GST reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support tax-related matters including preparation of schedules and documentation required for corporate tax filing and audits.
- Maintain proper accounting records and ensure transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
- Gain exposure and training opportunities to progressively learn and manage full set of accounts independently.
- Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, auditors, and tax agents when required.
- Support process improvement initiatives to improve accounting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance-related roles is preferred, but candidates with strong learning attitude are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems (Quickbooks).
• This role provides excellent exposure to multiple accounting functions including AR, AP, GST compliance, taxation matters, and progressive training towards managing a full set of accounts independently. It is suitable for candidates looking to build a long-term career in accounting and finance. You will also be guided by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
