Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability for construction projects.
Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts.
Maintain job costing records and analyze project variances.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Assist with external audits and tax filings.
Monitor subcontractor payments, retention balances, and progress billings.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
