Senior Program Manager– TRADE & SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE

We are looking for a seasoned Trade & Supply Chain Finance professional to lead complex, multi-country implementation projects across the APAC region. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering digital transformation in transaction banking environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance application implementations across multiple APAC markets.
  • Own the Target Operating Model (TOM) for trade and SCF products; drive fit-gap analysis, data migration, cutover strategy, and testing.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across regional and country teams, including bank product, operations, and technology functions.
  • Conduct RFI/RFP preparation, requirement gathering, SWOT analysis, and vendor evaluation for digital SCF and lending systems.
  • Coordinate with external partners including cloud infrastructure vendors, security vendors, and third-party system integrators.
  • Drive pre-sales activities — application demos, client workshops, POCs, and commercial proposal support.
  • Define and contribute to product roadmap strategy, including SWIFT standards, corporate messaging, and trade portal enhancements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across functional and technical workstreams, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 20 years of experience in Trade Finance and/or Supply Chain Finance, within a banking, consulting, or fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-country implementations across APAC (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of trade instruments: Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, SCF platforms, inward/outward remittances, and reimbursement claims.
  • Familiarity with UCP 600, URR, URC, ISBP, and SWIFT standards (MT700 series, MT798).
  • Experience in vendor selection, change management, and cloud-based infrastructure rollouts (Azure or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present confidently to C-level stakeholders.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Post-Graduate Diploma / MBA in Business Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Certifications in Trade Finance (CDCS, CSDG) or Project Management (PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
