About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for leading Griffith’s student load and income projections, annual fee reviews, and enabling effective decision making through the student admissions process. It combines analytical insight with creative problem-solving to influence broadly across the University.

The role provides enterprise-wide strategic leadership, driving integrated planning, continuous improvement and strong governance. It builds team capability while leveraging data-driven analysis to enhance financial performance and institutional decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a specialist team that produces highly accurate, detail driven student load and income projections from large and complex datasets to inform budgeting, admissions and strategic planning.
• Manage and manipulate enterprise level data to produce time critical analysis during QTAC admissions cycles, ensuring precision, strong governance and on‑time delivery.
• Build effective relationships across the University to influence student load, admissions and funding processes, clearly communicating complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Lead the annual program fee review, applying rigorous data analysis and continuous improvement to deliver evidence-based pricing recommendations to tight deadlines.
• Analyse government policy and funding changes, proactively modelling impacts on student load, revenue and long‑term financial sustainability.
• Develop long term student load and income forecasts, including scenarios and sensitivities, through sophisticated data modelling and analytical judgement.
• Combine hands-on, detail-level analysis with sound judgement to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative inputs, resolve ambiguity and provide clear, actionable advice.
• Communicate complex analysis clearly and concisely through high‑quality written materials, stakeholder engagement and executive‑level briefings, anticipating information needs and managing competing priorities effectively.

About you

• Proven ability to lead enterprise level strategic thinking, anticipate challenges, analyse complex and ambiguous issues, and deliver sustainable, well considered solutions.
• Advanced analytical capability, with demonstrated experience in scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and interpreting trends across large, complex datasets to inform strategic decisions.
• Strong technical expertise in managing, manipulating and analysing data to deliver accurate forecasting, high quality reporting and actionable insights.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and timely reports, briefs and submissions based on detailed analysis of complex issues and policy settings.
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate effectively with senior leaders, colleagues and external stakeholders.

Salary Range

HEW 10 Salary - $147,057.74 + 17% super. Full package is $172,057.55.

The Law School is seeking an experienced Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) to make significant contributions to high-quality teaching and to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities, with a particular interest in those with experience teaching Priestley 11 subjects including in the area of Ethics and Professional Responsibility in Practice.

Key responsibilities for a Lecturer (Level B) include but not limited to:

• Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate program suite facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities consistent with Griffith Graduates of the Future strategy.

Key responsibilities for a Senior Lecturer (Level C) - as above for Level B plus the following:

• Develop and implement evidence-based strategies that facilitate improved student retention, employability and successful outcomes for students.
• Provide educational leadership to a discipline including responsibility for academic courses and programs.
• Undertake high quality research that may have measurable impact on policy and practice in the wider community and attract and generate competitive research funding.
• Provide academic leadership ensuring consistently high-quality experiences and outcomes are achieved for higher degree research (HDR) candidates.
• Promote and enhance higher degree research programs and adopt strategies to encourage a pipeline of strong HDR students.
• Provide research leadership to the Department/School through collaboration with other staff and/or undertaking leadership of a research team.

This is a continuing, full-time position based at either Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast. Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary for an Academic Level B is in the range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum.

The full-time equivalent base salary for an Academic Level C is in the range $143,418 - $165,374 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $167,799 - $193,487 per annum.

Based at our Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, we have an opportunity for a 0.6 FTE (60%) Medical Receptionist. 

As a Medical Receptionist (Griffith’s title for this role as per the Position Description is Student Services Officer), you will be first point of contact for clients, external agencies and employees who use our services.

In this position you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Health & Medical Services, Counselling & Wellbeing Services, Disability & Accessibility Services, Chaplaincy Services, and with visiting health practitioners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• providing high level administrative support
• managing client bookings for Student Wellbeing & Accessibility
• processing billings and undertaking financial reconciliation for the Health and Medical Service

The open hours are from 8.30 – 4.30 so you will need to be available for rostered start times of 7.45, 8 0r 8.30 between Monday – Friday and available to work until 5pm.

It is essential you be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) and hepatitis B. It is also essential you have Medical Reception experience. 

What we can offer
The full-time base salary is HEW Level 4, $73,623 - $77,680 + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum. (This position is Pro Rata at 0.6 FTE, 3 days per week)

You will be based at our Brisbane South (Nathan) campus which sits in the heart of the Toohey forest.   As Griffith is a multicampus university, across campus travel may be required.

About you
It is essential you have demonstrated experience as a Medical Receptionist working in a clinical / medical environment.

In addition

• you are a team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, are respectful and willing to go the extra mile.
• you can multitask, provide high level administrative support across the unit, manage billing within the Health and Medical Services and be responsible for the management of cash and EFTPOS transactions and reconciliation.
• you are familiar with practice management systems (Genie and Point and Click preferred, but not essential), coordinating practitioner appointment books, appropriately triaging clients and adept at systems including Microsoft O365.
• highly developed customer service skills which will ensure you thrive in this role. 

About the Opportunity 

Under broad direction, the Executive Officer provides high level operational and executive support to the Director of Office of the Vice Chancellor and Government Relations and coordinates all activities associated with the government relations portfolio.  

The Executive Officer undertakes high level project work, developing strategy, briefing and position papers with respect to issues associated with government relations. This position provides first line advisory services to internal departments or external agencies seeking information from the Office.  This position is also required to provide support in policy drafting, revision and evaluation. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide high level executive and administrative support to the Director, Office of the Vice Chancellor and Government Relations, including coordination of actions arising from key decisions.  

• Research, analyse and prepare briefs, correspondence, presentations, reports, and strategy or policy papers for senior executives and internal and external stakeholders.  

• Manage complex and sensitive matters on behalf of the Director, exercising sound judgement and discretion.  

• Lead coordination and project management of special initiatives, projects and events.  

• Build and maintain effective relationships and networks across the University and with government, industry and community stakeholders.  

• Provide subject matter expertise and policy advice across a range of portfolio activities.  

• Undertake additional responsibilities aligned with the seniority and objectives of the role as required. 

About you 

• The occupant of the position will hold postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
