Contract Period: From 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028 – 18 months
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Fridays: 7.30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays, except for specific duties beyond stipulated work hours.
(Note: the AV Multimedia Executive is expected to support the school in terms of school events that may take place beyond the school operating hours of weekdays, 7.00am – 7.00pm timeframe, e.g. on weekends or in the evenings. Time-off will be given if work is performed as required.)
Requirements:
The Personnel shall have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing audio-visual systems and producing multimedia content for events, functions, and projects.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in asset management, including the maintenance and replacement of audio-visual and multimedia equipment.
Qualities:
• A collaborative team player who works well across all levels of school staff, supporting a wide range of needs including AV setup and multimedia facilitation.
• Possesses a positive attitude, approachable demeanour, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Diligent and quick to learn, with strong multitasking abilities and a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines.
Job Scopes:
The Services required are set out as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support & Setup
• Provide technical support and setup for audio-visual (AV) and multimedia facilities used in lessons, co-curricular activities (CCAs), examinations, meetings, and school events.
• Manage live streaming, video conferencing, and multimedia production, including photography and videography using professional equipment such as DSLR cameras.
• Offer in-class support for ICT-integrated lessons and assist with multimedia content creation, such as video editing and post- production.
2. Technical Advice & Staff Training
• Advise on the procurement of AV and multimedia equipment and software to support both teaching and administrative needs.
• Conduct training for staff in the effective use of AV and multimedia tools as and when needed.
• Guide and support staff involved in media-related projects or event coverage.
3. Equipment & Inventory Management
• Oversee regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs of AV and multimedia equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, servicing history, and manage loan systems and asset checks.
• Collaborate with the HOD (ICT) and ICT Associate on procurement matters and budgeting for equipment upkeep and replacement.
4. Collaboration & Project Management
• Work closely with the ICT team and other school departments to ensure integrated and seamless support for AV and multimedia needs.
• Lead project management for school-commissioned works involving AV facilities, including planning, coordination with vendors, and stakeholder engagement.
5. Additional Duties
• Support ad-hoc tasks such as updating the school website, creating digital graphics, and troubleshooting specialised systems like the public address (PA) system.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by school leadership or department heads.
