RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive primarily implements initiatives and development plans that are congruent with the organisation's goals and the needs of the community

Programme Implementation

• Establish links and partnerships with relevant agencies to determine programme requirements and relevance
• Identify upcoming trends affecting programme's success
• Follow best practices and new methodologies aimed at enhancing programme impact
• Follow service framework for programme work plans, resource requirement and budgeting
• Follow procedures for programmes pertaining to community service
• Plan and collaborate with other organisations to achieve programme's goals
• Support Reporting Officer in reviewing the alignment of programme to centre objectives
• Support Reporting Officer in reviewing effectiveness of programmes

Community Work

• Implement community outreach event/ Coordinate Roadshows
• Deliver social work programmes to meet the targeted needs
• Gather relevant information from different sources
• Link up of community resources
• Support the team in rendering services to the community, e.g. home visit, medical escort and others

Volunteer Management

• Communicate appropriate programme objectives to volunteers as required
• Provide guidance to volunteers on executing effective programmes
• Develop growing team of volunteers to support various programmes
• Network and build relationships with potential partners that have many volunteers
• Identify and retain committed volunteers

Compliance

• Consolidate status of KPIs periodically
• Ensure expenditure is within the budget
• Ensure KPIs will be met within the timeline as per funding agencies' requirement
• Support Reporting Officer in preparing monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reports by preparing the relevant and required information

Ad-hoc Duties

• Provide any other support as assigned/required

• Possess Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in events or programmes design, planning and implementation will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of social service practices will be an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Job Description:

• Perform daily sorting and filing of receivable and payables and general administrative.
• Checking suppliers’ invoice and receipts from outlets for updating in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process payments and reconcile all receipts from outlets
• Manage monthly closing process and reconciliations within reporting timeline
• Yearly closing of accounts (journal for accrual, prepayment, depreciation, update balance sheet schedules, etc).
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in full sets accounting
• Time-management abilities, fast learner, meticulous, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills, accountable, initiative and willingness to learn
• Good team player with positive working attitude
