Job Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical wiring works including cable pulling, cable trunking, conduit installation, and termination
• Install and wire electrical components such as switches, circuit breaker panels, and distribution systems
• Perform wiring connections ensuring proper system compatibility, safety, and functionality
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and control diagrams
• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and control panels
• Support engineers during inspection, rectification, and site coordination work
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards
• * Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure good housekeeping at work sites

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical wiring, panel wiring, or industrial site installation
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, control diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Good attitude, teamwork, and communication skills
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems or automation-related work is an added advantage
• Committed to safety, quality, and proper documentation
• Willing to work on-site at buildings, factories, plants, or customer locations
• Perform ad-hoc technical duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Working Details

1. Working Time: Monday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
2. Work Location: Khean Huat Electrical Sdn Bhd, Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam, Penang
3. Education: Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field
4. Job Type: Full-time (Fresh graduates may apply / considered)

Job description:

• Work with project team and involve in procurement, construction, commissioning
• Manage project execution at site for electrical & ELV distribution system.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved specification, procedures and requirements
• Liase with sub-contractor, attend site inspection, and resolve site technical issues.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, site activities, and claim certification. 
• Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments and determine variation order.
• To liase with drafter to update changes on site into as-build drawing
• Prepare request for information (RFI) on changes of specification
• To participate in tender activity

Job Requirements:

• Preferred 3-6 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering on building construction
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and communication
• Good organizational, time management, leadership, and decision making skills
• Good project management and supervision skills
• Fresh graduate are encourage to apply

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Choose output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
• Utilise automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.
• Manage records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
• Oversee procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
• Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn't meet requirements.
• Document and submit reports to the quality manager.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
• A sharp eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Experienced with quality testing machines and systems.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Minimum SPM/O level or equivalent; Further qualifications will be a plus.
