JR INTERIOR DESIGNER & INTERN Responsibilities :

1. To provide interior design concepts and preparation of 3D and 2D drawings.

2. To prepare sample boards.

3. To prepare and maintain AutoCAD layout plans, furniture detail drawings in AutoCAD and other drawings in the related design software.

4. To liaise and coordinate with contractors and suppliers at various stages of works effectively.

5. To perform administrative duties related to design projects.

6. To perform any adhoc design related matters.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent.
• At least 1 (one) year hands-on experience in related field. Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are also encouraged to apply.
• Required skill(s) : MS Office, Photoshop & Illustration, AutoCAD, Adobe related software, 3D Studio MAX, ZWCAD.
• Able to work under pressure, good team spirit and able to work independently. • Creative, self-motivated and energetic.
• Required language(s) : English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Full-time/Intern position.

Job Description

• Position Title: Interior Design Assistant /Junior Interior Designer
• Working Location: Macpherson
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon - Fri (9.00am – 7.00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal Designer in client and project meetings, including note-taking and preparing documents.
• Prepare presentation materials for proposals and project pitches.
• Coordinate and check 2D drawings with 3D models to ensure accuracy.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and renders when required.
• Attend site visits and project meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors and clients to support project delivery.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by management.

About the Role

Our client, a growing interior design and renovation firm in Singapore, is looking to engage Junior Sales Interior Designers (Freelance) who are passionate about design and client engagement.

This opportunity is open to individuals with no prior experience, including career switchers who are motivated to build a career in interior design and sales.

A structured 3-month buddy system with a nominal allowance will be provided to support onboarding and learning.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and understand client requirements

• Support basic space planning and design conceptualisation

• Assist in preparing mood boards, material boards, and presentations

• Support preparation of quotations based on client needs

• Work closely with senior designers on proposals and client discussions

• Assist in project coordination and liaise with contractors/vendors
