ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Lead & Solution Architect to anchor the technical direction of complex banking product and platform builds delivered to global financial institutions. The role blends deep engineering leadership with architecture ownership: setting technical standards, designing scalable and secure solutions, leading interface and API development, and steering agile squads through multi-wave delivery across both cloud and on-premises environments. The successful candidate has progressed from senior engineering into a mid-level architecture remit within IT services and/or banking product organisations, and is comfortable operating between code, design authority forums, and client-facing technical governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution & technical architecture — own end-to-end solution design for product and integration workstreams; produce HLDs/LLDs, component models, sequence flows and non-functional specifications; chair or contribute to design authority / architecture review boards.

• Engineering leadership — lead technical squads (onshore/offshore) across the full SDLC; set coding standards, branching strategy, code-review discipline and definition-of-done; act as senior escalation point for technical risk.

• Interfaces & API development — design and govern system-to-system interfaces and API contracts (REST/SOAP, event/streaming, file-based and messaging); own interface cataloguing, versioning, schema governance and backward-compatibility strategy.

• Product engineering — drive feature engineering on core banking / transaction-banking products; balance configurability vs. customisation, manage technical debt, and uphold productisation principles for reusable, multi-tenant builds.

• Agile delivery — run agile ceremonies as technical lead; translate epics into technical stories, estimate with the team, and protect velocity while maintaining quality gates and CI/CD discipline.

• Cloud & on-premises deployment — architect for both cloud-native (containers, managed services, IaC) and on-premises data-centre topologies; address HA/DR, scalability, observability and environment management for each.

• Non-functional & security — embed performance, resilience, scalability and security-by-design; partner with infosec on threat modelling, secure SDLC, secrets management and compliance to banking regulatory expectations (e.g. MAS TRM where applicable).

• Client & stakeholder engagement — present designs and trade-offs to bank architecture teams, CIOs and technical SteerCos; defend decisions, manage dependencies and align on integration landscapes.

• Mentorship — coach senior and mid-level engineers, conduct technical assessments, and raise the engineering bar across the delivery centre.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 12–15 years in software engineering with demonstrable progression into a technical lead and mid-level architect role.

• Proven experience across both IT services organisations and software product companies, with substantial exposure to the banking / financial services domain.

• Track record of leading agile product engineering and complex systems integration / interface development for enterprise-grade platforms.

• Hands-on delivery experience across both cloud and on-premises implementations.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; recognised architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF) and/or relevant cloud certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Jointly with your Pricing Manager, performing market and pricing analysis and developing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance pricing performance
• Creating A/B test plans and managing them end to end including implementation, analysis and communication
• Monitoring the performance of pricing initiatives, take ownership and proactively addressing opportunities to ensure a positive P&L impact
• Working closely with a cross-functional team of professionals with domain expertise in the fields of Commercial, Data and Product & Engineering. This includes supporting the development of our best-in-class dynamic pricing tool
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and other reporting tools; consuming diverse data sources to support pricing decision-making
• Establishing and maintaining close relationships with the regional Pricing teams to ensure smooth collaboration as well as regular knowledge exchange

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Deal Desk and you will act as a strategic advisor to our regional sales team—structuring complex commercial deals, optimizing end-to-end management processes, and ensuring alignment with corporate profitability targets.

This role reports to the Head of Sales Operations and is fully onsite at the Malaysia's First Avenue Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Deal Structuring & Advisory: Serve as the strategic advisor to regional sales teams on complex deal structures, pricing, and commercial terms to maximize profitability and alignment with corporate goals.
• End-to-End Orchestration: Drive cross-functional alignment (Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations) to move deals from creation through approval to final closure, resolving exceptions.
• Process Design & Optimization: Improve the regional deal management process to boost governance, and commercial velocity.
• Financial Analysis & CRM Insights: Conduct financial modeling, margin analysis, and pipeline tracking by CRM to deliver data-driven insights for negotiations and sales forecasting.
• Contracting and Compliance: Review contract documentation to ensure total compliance with company policies, accurate revenue recognition and agreement.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking mechanisms to ensure closed deals achieve projected financial targets, identifying variances and optimization opportunities.
• Report & Strategy: Translate complex data into clear summaries and recommendations for senior leadership, while mentoring junior team members on deal desk best practices.

Responsibilities related to financial management, including budgeting, preparing financial reports, conducting cost analyses, and improving financial processes. It involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting audits, managing capital tracking, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the company's continued business expansion by providing financial planning, analysis, and business partnering for capacity growth, new initiatives, and increasing operational complexity.
• Full support on automation and digitalization project  
• Participate in FP&A transformation initiative 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Monitor automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
• Track, monitor, analyse, and control department budget
• Prepare a monthly financial analysis of actual against budget
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost centres and management reports
• Consolidate spending at the divisional level and perform a detailed analysis of costs on the  product level
• Recommends actions by analysing data and making comparative analyses
• Involve and focus heavily on budgetary control, financial analysis, and management reports
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data, and maintains the database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
• Prepare various reports and charts, and the Operation Review when necessary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve financial performance
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and analyses
• Involved in capital tracking and depreciation forecast
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and reports as assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time
• Ensure meeting company and departmental compliance to applicable legal and IMS requirements
• Responsible for the health and safety of the individual at the workplace
• Ensure departmental compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO22301 standards

As a Security Operations Analyst within the Security function, you will play a key role in protecting the organisation through proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and operational resilience coordination across local, regional, and platform environments.

The Security Function operates as a 1.5 line of defense within the organisation, supporting security governance, engineering, and operational security capabilities across the business.

You will work closely with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, Platform, and GRC teams to strengthen operational security, resilience readiness, and security response capabilities across modern cloud-native and AI-driven environments.

The primary focus areas of this role include:

• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Security Monitoring & Operations
• Incident Response
• Operational Resilience Planning & Coordination

This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys operational security, incident investigation, threat analysis, operational coordination, and continuous improvement of security operations processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Analytical Skills : Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Data Interpretation : Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a user-friendly format.
• Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs) is preferred.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights effectively.
• Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data and its implications for the business.
• Team Player : Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to team efforts and learn from others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience or coursework in data analysis or data visualization is a plus.
