We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Intern to support our planning and logistics team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain "ground-truth" experience in how a global supply chain functions. You will move beyond the classroom to manage real-time inventory flows, coordinate shipment diversions, and act as a key point of contact for operational inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support: Assist in managing daily supply chain inquiries from internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, and Warehousing).

Shipment Coordination: Support the team in tracking active shipments and coordinating "diversions" to ensure stock reaches the correct destination during supply disruptions.

Data Maintenance: Update and maintain inventory records and shipment status within the ERP system to ensure 100% data accuracy.

Reporting: Help compile weekly reports on "Days Open" for orders and track key performance metrics like delivery lead times.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks or automate repetitive inquiry responses.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Operations, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) or low-code tools (Power Platform) is a plus.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex shipping updates clearly.

Job Summary

The Procurement Intern will assist the procurement team in vendor management, data comparison, and supply chain analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement processes and supply chain operations, supporting efficient business administration and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Business Administration:

• Compare and analyze data extracted from internal systems to support procurement decision-making
• Track and maintain vendor records to assist vendor management activities
• Perform business administrative tasks to support procurement operations as needed

Supply Chain Management:

• Assist in projecting sales using internal data to support accurate forecasting
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to support inventory management

Job Description

• Support Operations team, coordinating with various parties like ship masters, ship brokers, bunker traders, port agents, marine surveyors on day-to-day operation matter to ensure voyages run smoothly.
• Check and update operations data in the system for Operations team analysis, decision making and reporting.
• Preparation of business summary, BL collection, tallying of financial statement and following up of outstanding issues with relevant parties.
• Maintain repetitive communication formats, reports and data on computer as advised by Operations / Vessel Manager.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Course of Study – Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Expected commencement in/about September 2026.
• Good time management and independent.
•  Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Able to work in a team-working environment.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin: to liaise with Mandarin-speaking personnel and view documents/communications in Mandarin.
