General Summary:

To ensure financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements. To ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements including audit.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Management on all important/problems.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and other reports as required by the Management.
• Possess strong analytical and good planning skills with good working knowledge of accounting software.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow management, annual budgeting, forecasting and tax planning.
• Responsible to conduct credit checks and assessing credit worthiness.
• To monitor and ensure timely invoicing to customers for services rendered and collection of payments.

• Assist in GST implementation, reporting and submission.
• Assist to resolve accounting issues, supervise and review work done by finance team.
• Responsible to endure excellent services provided to customers.
• Develop business processes and policies to assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls and credit controls.
• Work with all business units to collect input, assemble financial plans, understand driving force behind the numbers and assess all the assumptions made with every project.
• Liaise with external parties, ie auditors, bankers, lawyer, company secretaries, local authorities, tax agents for corporate matters.
• Manage timely tax submissions to the Inland Revenue Board and Customs Department.
• Assist and advice in the review and execution of corporate proposals such as acquisition, investment and disposal as well as other projects.
• Setup the product costing.
• Assist in handle customer queries and prepare debtor reconciliation.
• Monitor cash flow by follow up customer collection with credit controller.
• In-charge for invoice billing and to verify the invoice quantity vs summary report and checking the selling price.
• Final accounts and Profit and Lost monthly checking.
• Backup HR, credit controller when necessary.
• Provide training to the staff.
• To ensure the system and flow smoothly run.
• Assist in overseeing operation activities when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum Education : Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy/or Proffesional certificate such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum Knowledge : Accounting standard, GST, Legal Compliance and others
• Minimum Experience : At least 5 years of working experience in the related field, good communication skills and others.

About the job

*Take the lead role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

*Manage the fixed assets and revenue team ensuring compliance.

*Manage and monitor subordinates' works in respect of payable, receivables. 

The candidate

To be considered for this senior accounting & finance role, candidate should possess professional qualification ACCA or Bachelor degree. Preference for candidates who are in age group 30-40 with at least 5-8 years of overall accounting experience.

About the job

This is a full time permanent position, reporting directly to Senior Group Finance Manager of the group in Malaysia. 

The role will be to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group. 

Key responsibilities:

*Responsible for quarterly and yearly reports for Bursa Malaysia announcements.

*Responsible for the Group consolidated accounts on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

*Responsible for the financial management of the company and the Group.

*Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.

The candidate

To be considered for this senior accounting role, candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting qualification or ACCA/CIMA graduate. 

*Member of MIA.

*Preference for candidates who are in age group 35-45

*At least 5-8 years of PLC environment.; ideal and an asset. 

*The successful applicant will be strong in consolidation of group accounts.

Good working knowledge on Main Board Listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities and MFRS/IFRS.

We are seeking an experienced Project / Site Manager to oversee project execution from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating contractors and subcontractors, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Management

• Manage and oversee all site activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines.

Safety, Health & Compliance

• Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and client requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards, risks, and non-compliance issues.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to site safety protocols and permit-to-work requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on project status and progress.
• Accompany clients during site visits and address project-related queries and concerns.
• Maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders throughout project execution.

Reporting & Resource Management

• Prepare project documentation, site reports, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and manage manpower resource plans to support project requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project-related documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of project management and site supervision experience within the Oil & Gas, Construction, Petrochemical, Tank Terminal, or related industries.
• Proven track record of managing contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site operations, HSE regulations, and permit-to-work systems.
• Experience with above-ground storage tank construction, maintenance, inspection, or repair projects is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of above-ground storage tank design and construction, as well as API 653 certification, will be an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in preparing project schedules, manpower plans, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
