Reporting Structure

As a Project Engineer, you will have strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The Project Engineer will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. •Coordinate and management of procurement and logistics for construction materials, fabrication items and equipment whilst ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

•Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.

•Walk the talk, train the trainer, attend to punch list, conduct inspection and obtain COA signed by the client to mark end of the biogas project milestone for construction and commissioning phase.

•Review engineering deliverables with project team upon project completion and initiate appropriate corrective actions for future project implementation.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

•A bachelor’s degree in Bio-Tech / Mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.

•3 years of experience as a Project Engineer with excellent project management and supervision skills.

The company is seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior Site Engineer to support civil engineering and ground improvement works for major infrastructure and construction projects in Singapore. The role will be responsible for daily site supervision, planning, coordination, inspection, documentation and execution of civil works in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications and safety requirements.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant construction site experience, with substantial experience in Singapore construction projects.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in major infrastructure, LTA, transport, tunnelling, ground improvement or similar civil engineering projects.

· Experience handling site supervision, inspection coordination, progress reporting, quantity checking, material coordination and method statement support.

· Practical experience coordinating with consultants and resolving site execution issues.

· Able to coordinate inspections with consultant, RE and RTO teams.

· Able to prepare and manage RFI submissions, inspection records, progress reports and site documentation.

· Able to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.

· Experience in planning daily site activities, coordinating manpower and monitoring work progress.

· Familiar with workplace safety requirements and site documentation practices in Singapore construction projects.

· Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD or related drafting software will be an advantage.

· Possession of relevant safety certification, such as Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course or equivalent, will be an advantage.

· Able to work on construction sites and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.

· Candidates with experience in ground engineering, foundation works, civil infrastructure or LTA-related projects will be preferred.

· Able to commit to long working hours to meet tight project deadlines: 6days work week, 7.30am-6pm

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure waste collection requirements are met at customer sites
• Work with customer site operations teams to understand and clarify their needs
• Manage new and ongoing projects, including liaising with customers on their specifications and schedules
• Track and resolve site risks and issues
• Oversee workers and subcontractors at project sites, and report any issues to the Project Manager
• Assist the Project Manager in managing customer care programs, including monitoring satisfaction and addressing complaints or changes
• Ensure all personnel follow safety, environmental, and health policies and procedures; review work activities and job safety risk assessments (JSRA)
• Train workers on new job requirements and the use of new equipment
• Arrange transportation for workers to and from sites
• Support worker deployment to sites in case of emergency activation (including after office hours)
