Job Overview

The Settlements & Client Success Analyst plays a critical hybrid role within Operations, combining client onboarding, compliance, and settlement responsibilities to ensure a seamless and risk-controlled client experience.

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding journey for new clients while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and financial crime prevention frameworks. Key Responsibilities

1. MonFX Settlements

• Liaise with clients, brokers, and banking partners to facilitate the timely settlement of FX transactions and related cash flows.
• Process inward and outward payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve payment errors to a high standard, ensuring minimal operational risk.
• Support and contribute to daily handovers across Monex Group Operations teams.
• Manage daily operational tasks independently, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Monitor and manage support desk queries, including:
• Responding to client calls
• Managing and replying to support emails
• Provide operational support to Sales and Trading teams in servicing client needs.
• Follow up on unsettled trades with clients and relevant traders to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor client balances and proactively follow up on outstanding payment instructions.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of MonFX Pay operations.
• Deliver a high standard of client service and communication to support client satisfaction and retention.

3. Client Onboarding

• Monitor onboarding pipeline progress and proactively address bottlenecks or delays

4. Compliance & Due Diligence

• Ensure corporate clients meet all KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements in line with company policies and applicable regulations

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SIEM configuration, rule tuning, and onboarding of logs from servers, applications, and network infrastructure.

• Perform daily security alert monitoring and analysis, including alert triage, classification, investigation, escalation, and case closure.

• Prepare weekly security monitoring and alert trend reports, including event summaries, detection metrics, and operational observations.

• Deploy and manage log collection agents across Linux, Windows, and network infrastructure, ensuring stable log coverage and platform reliability.

• Maintain and enhance AI-assisted detection and behavioral analysis workflows, including alert flow stability and detection optimization.

• Define and refine detection logic, including rules, correlation patterns, and behavioral indicators.

• Support integration of OS and application logs for monitoring, correlation, and activity analysis.

• Manage dashboards, alert metrics, and reporting to provide visibility into security posture and monitoring operations.

• Support incident investigation and coordinate with infrastructure and application teams where required.

• Ensure platform health, log retention, monitoring coverage, and overall reliability of the SIEM environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SIEM administration, security monitoring, or detection engineering.

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, log management, or security monitoring platforms.

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and security log analysis.

• Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or automation tools for log processing and workflow optimization.

• Familiarity with security event correlation, behavioral analysis, and detection engineering concepts.

• Exposure to API integration, middleware, or AI-assisted analysis solutions is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is essential, as the role requires frequent liaison with Chinese-speaking counterparts and stakeholders, and the preparation, review and handling of Chinese-language work materials.

In this role, you will act as the security advisor throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure applications are designed, built, and deployed securely.
