Business Development, Commercial Support & RFQ Management

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by analysing market freight data and proposing competitive pricing strategies
• Drive business acquisition through proactive pricing solutions for target customers
• Actively support and lead RFQs, tenders, and bidding processes for prospective and existing accounts
• Partner closely with Sales teams to deliver strategic pricing solutions that improve win rates
• Provide timely and effective pricing support to meet customer requirements and commercial objectives

Market Intelligence & Analysis

• Monitor and analyse market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing
• Research and identify opportunities to enhance pricing competitiveness
• Maintain visibility on airline costing, flight routes, and capacity conditions

Carrier Management & Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, GSAs, and strategic partners
• Ensure effective communication on surcharge updates, market changes, and carrier notices
• Optimize loading plans and space utilization based on daily allotments

Internal Collaboration & Compliance

• Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Overseas offices to align pricing strategies
• Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and approval processes
• Maintain and update pricing systems, databases, and tools for operational efficiency
• Provide support for customer escalations related to pricing and capacity issues

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5~8 years of experience in Air Freight Pricing, Procurement, or Commercial Management.
• Strong knowledge of airline pricing structures, capacity management, and global air freight market dynamics.
• Experience in RFQ/RFP management and multinational customer accounts.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Proficiencyin Excel, pricing tools, and freight forwarding systems.

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to be part of their Supply Chain team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the east.

The Supply Chain Manager's responsible is:

• Lead and oversee daily supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, logistics, and warehouse functions
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and SOPs to support business objectives and operational efficiency
• Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, forecasting, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics
• Lead and develop Procurement and Warehouse teams, driving performance and continuous improvement
• Improve forecast accuracy and optimize inventory planning to minimize excess stock and material wastage
• Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiations, and performance to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supplier base
• Oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation coordination, and operational best practices
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Drive supply chain improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational and business requirements

Job Requirements:

• Degree in supply chain related discipline
• Min 8 years experience in supply chain within medical devices sector
• Good communication skills
