Job Summary
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth for Leaf CRM. This is a product-focused sales role where you will run the full sales cycle for Leaf CRM, from identifying and qualifying leads, to delivering product demos, to closing subscriptions and handing customers over for onboarding. The ideal candidate understands how SaaS and CRM products are bought and sold, communicates clearly, and has a track record of meeting sales targets.
What you will do
- Own the Leaf CRM sales pipeline: Research, identify, and qualify prospects across Malaysia and the wider region, and develop targeted strategies to approach and convert them.
- Run structured outreach campaigns: Work with lead providers and prospect lists to drive consistent outbound activity (cold calls, follow-ups, and book qualified demo appointments.)
- Deliver compelling Leaf CRM demos, lead trial conversations, prepare proposals and contracts, and close monthly and annual subscriptions.
- Develop deep product knowledge to effectively map Leaf CRM features to each prospect's sales and workflow needs
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to drive retention, expansion, and referrals.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships and reseller channels that extend Leaf CRM's reach.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding handoffs and feed market insights back into the product roadmap.
- Represent Leaf CRM at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build the brand and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular reports on pipeline, sales performance, and market trends.
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably selling SaaS, CRM, or other technology products.
- Familiarity with how CRM and lead management tools support sales and marketing teams, and an understanding of the software and enterprise solutions landscape.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong English command
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence demoing software to decision makers.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
